Booked by 5 families in Long Island City, NY

Hi! My name is Hanna, and I’ve always had a passion for working with children and I hope to be an elementary school social worker one day. I’m currently a college student studying Forensic Psychology at John Jay College, and I’ve spent the past few years supporting kids in both classroom and program settings. I’ve worked one-on-one with first graders, led small group activities in after-school programs, and even helped coordinate summer activities for children with autism and learning differences. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, and I bring a lot of patience, energy, and creativity to every job. I’ve also taken care of toddlers in the past and love helping little ones learn, play, and feel safe. Whether it’s helping with homework, playing games, or simply keeping things calm and fun at home, I’m here to support your family however I can!

“Hanna was terrific. She arrived on time and immediately made my kids comfortable. My 5yo enjoyed her time with with her. ”

Booked by 5 families in Long Island City, NY

Hi! My name is Jasmin, and I am a responsible and caring babysitter with 14 years of experience working with children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I am passionate about providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for your little ones. I believe in engaging children in creative activities such as arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational games. I am also comfortable helping with homework, meal preparation, and light household duties as needed. I am not CPR and First Aid certified, but I am willing to get certified. I understand the importance of clear communication, so I make it a priority to work closely with parents to meet the unique needs of their families. I expect payment for the full time of the original booking. If a booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the start time, the full rate will still be due. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start time will require a 50% payment, as it can be difficult to secure alternative work on short notice. I look forward to meeting you and your children!

“Jasmin came early and was very nice, attentive and responsible. My daughters said they liked her and looked forward to seeing her again. I definitely recommend her. Jasmin did a wonderful job. She texted me updates as needed and was able to keep my girls engaged during a long day together. She is reliable, professional and fun; An absolute pleasure to work with.”

Hi Families! I'm Ella, I'm 22 years old, and a recent graduate from the University of Connecticut. Hi there! My name is Lindy and I’m a 26-year-old artist and textile-maker living in Brooklyn. I graduated cum laude from NYU three years ago where I studied mental health with a focus on children and adolescents. I am passionate about early childhood, and this fall, I’ll be back in school working towards my masters degree in art therapy. In the mean time, I’m looking for part-time nanny work and regular babysitting opportunities! :) I adore children and have been babysitting since an early age. In addition, I have experience working as a teacher’s assistant at my local temple, a day care assistant, and as an intern at a children’s arts camp in Brooklyn. In total, I have over 5 years of experience caring for children aged 3 months to 12+. I've spent the past three years since graduating college nannying part-time. One of my previous nanny families described me as “kind, sensitive, attentive, and simply a lovely human being…who has very much become a part of our family.” I am fully vaccinated and boosted as well as CPR and First Aid certified. Let me know if you’d like to speak to my references!

“Lindy helped us out last minute when our full-time caregiver had a family emergency. She was calm, kind and mature and easygoing about our toddler being in a cranky mood. Our 5 year old also had fun playing with her. ”
