I have been a full time teacher for ten years and have over fifteen years of experience working with elementary and middle school age children in classroom and home settings. I began working with children when I started babysitting my toddler twin cousins, and have worked in education and childcare for over ten years. I currently teach fourth grade in Brooklyn. Hi, My name is Yulia! I moved to New York in 2020, shortly after graduating from the University of San Francisco with a B.A. in psychology and focus in child development. In high school, I began volunteering with a therapeutic horsemanship for children with cognitive, developmental, and learning disabilities. This is where I developed my passion for caring for children and studying human development. I have over fifteen years of experience, including babysitting for multiple families, nannying, completing my capstone practicum as a pre-school aid, and most recently working as a behavior technician for children on the Autism Spectrum.
