Hi, I'm Victoria! I have 8+ years of babysitting and nannying experience in NYC and have recently re-entered the babysitting world after getting my MBA! I work full time in finance but have been missing getting to work with kids. Originally from Upstate NY, I moved to NYC to pursue a BFA in dance and have since transitioned to the business and finance realm. Some background on my experience: I have been babysitting for the past 10 years and I love to work with kids. I have worked with children from ages 2 months to 12 years old. I have also taught creative movement classes and dance to kids of all ages, so I am very accustomed to high energy and can match that of your child. I have also tutored children and worked in classroom settings. I am a very active and enthusiastic person, which I love to share with the kids I work with. I love to babysit because growing up, my babysitters had a positive influence on me and became very important to me, so I want to give others that experience and be a fun, inspiring babysitter and positive role model. I do not treat this job as daily work, I treat each family as my own and make sure the family and children receive the best care possible! Additionally, I have done volunteer work with reading to preschoolers, helping elementary school students after school with tutoring, and volunteering at daycare services for kids. Hi there! I’m Madeleine, and I’m attending NYU at the moment. I am a Psychology major, and find working with kids fascinating as you can really see skills and proficiencies develop. I have worked as a babysitter for children from 5-12, and as a summer camp counselor for children from 4-13. I have also worked in temporary childcare for children from 6 months to 12 years. I am a former STEM school student, where I volunteered as a tutor for Math, Science, and SAT prep. I am able to assist with homework or skill building in these areas. I previously sang in a choir for seven years, in multiple vocal parts, and am able to work with learning solfège or sight reading.
