Hi! My name is Katrina! š Iāve been the go-to babysitter for my family and friends for many years, and Iāve been caring for children ranging from about 5 months to 9 years old since I was a teenager. Iāve always loved being around kids, and honestly, working with them has always just come naturally to me. Iām patient, caring, dependable, and I really enjoy making kids feel comfortable, happy, and understood. I currently work as a Paraprofessional with the NYC Board of Education in Williamsburg, where I work closely with children in special education. Iāve worked one-on-one with children with ADHD, autism, developmental delays, speech disorders, and different sensory and behavioral needs. Iāve also worked with children from Pre-K through 2nd grade, so Iām very comfortable with different ages, personalities, routines, and learning styles. When I babysit, I donāt want kids to feel like theyāre just being āwatched.ā I love keeping them busy with fun, age-appropriate activities while still giving them structure and following their normal routines. Depending on your childās age and interests, we might: ⢠š¶ Sing songs and play movement games ⢠š Practice days of the week, months, letters, numbers, etc. ⢠šØ Color, do crafts, and other hands-on activities ⢠š¢ Play counting and early-learning games ⢠š Dance, listen to music, and have a little fun ⢠š Read stories and have story time ⢠š§ Bake or do simple kitchen activities (Iām actually a baking & pastry graduate!) Iām especially comfortable working with children who may need a little extra patience, structure, reassurance, or help communicating their needs. I always try to meet each child where they are and make sure they feel safe, respected, and comfortable with me. ⨠Availability: Pickups, summer days, occasional weekends, school/DOE days off, and other occasional babysitting needs. I currently have availability for Wednesdays through Fridays ! Iād love the chance to get to know your family and hopefully become someone you and your little one feel comfortable having around. š
āKatrina has been an amazing sitter to our two kids (and dog!) for many years. She's so sweet, very reliable, engaging and fun with the kids. She's thoughtful and comes up with fun activities, the kids love her and we consider her family. She is bright, warm and tidy.ā
Hello! I am an experienced parent of a college-bound 17-year-old son and nurturing children comes naturally to me. I hold a graduate degree in art history and, during the week, work full time as the director and curator of a small art museum. I value childrenās natural curiosity and bring a patient, creative, friendly, and steady approach to childcare. I am comfortable caring for one to two children at a time to ensure focused attention and personalized care. I enjoy engaging children with crafts, board games, puzzles, books, and general creative play. I prioritize open communication with parents, and I'm very comfortable upholding household rules. As a mother myself, I know the importance of having a trusted caregiver. My goal is to provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment to ensure your child/ren feel secure and happy while you're outāand to provide you with peace of mind!
I am one of six and have been babysitting since I could watch my little siblings and cousins. I love kids and am now an aunt to a two-year-old. I spent the past year and a half as a nanny for a one-year-old. I am a graduate of the University of Michigan and am currently based in Clinton Hill. As a nanny, I also help keep the house tidy and help out with errands. I love to create fun games and engaging activities. I have received training in CPR and first aid.
I am Cornelia , an experienced nanny with great references! I have had the opportunity to care for kids from newborns to school age for the past 16 years, and it has been a pleasure. My skills has sharpened as the years went by, and it has taught me a lot about myself. I love caring for kids because it affords me the opportunity to help contribute towards our next generation, as the first three years of a childās life is the most crucial phase developmentally.
I am a lifelong babysitter, starting as a motherās helper at 8 years old for a neighbor and their infant. I babysat throughout high school for an infant until I moved to NYC when she was 8 years old. In college, I worked at a daycare with children aged 12 weeks to 5 years old. When I first moved to NYC I was a nanny for 3 different families with children ranging in age from 8 months to 2 years old. I am currently a 5th grade math teacher and have been a teacher to elementary and middle school aged children for 14 years. I love playing games, reading and going for walks or to the playground. I love to joke around while still have boundaries with kids to keep them safe and learn how to navigate the world around them.
