I'm a 37 year old mostly WFH advertising writer who loves dogs, cats, kids and has plenty of time to hang out with yours! I've pet sat since I was a kid and have always enjoyed helping out owners while getting quality time with a variety of fun pets. I live in Cobble Hill and am very close to several parks and paths where I love to walk. I’ve marked that I'm fine with pets being on the furniture (because who doesn’t love snuggles!) but we’ll enforce any rules you have for consistency.
“Sarah is an absolutely incredible dogsitter! She has watched my shiba inu, Goji, for several years and he is truly obsessed with her. Sarah is kind, responsible, reliable, and highly competent at dog care. We feel lucky to have found Sarah as a sitter and always trust that Goji is in good hands with her.”
Hi, my name is Kim, but my friends and clients call me the "fairy dogmother" and the "doggie doula" because of how great I am taking care of dogs (and because of how much I spoil and love them)! A little bit about my background-- I am based in Brooklyn two blocks from Prospect Park. I have over 15 years experience caring for and rescuing high-need dogs with health issues. I decided to open up my home to dogs on Urbansitter after my senior dog recently passed away from end stage renal disease. Through caring for him and others, I have learned to administer subcutaneous fluid as well as oral medication to animals. I specifically have ample experience supporting dogs with generalized anxiety disorder, Cushing's, bladder stones, chronic pancreatitis, allergies, injuries, and so on. While I do have a full-time job that's unrelated to my passion for animals, I mostly work from home, which means I am available during the day for many walks and snuggles for your furry loved one. If you ask any one, they will tell you that they've never met someone who goes so above and beyond for dogs and that your companion will be so well-taken care of. (In fact, my old vet might have asked me a few times to adopt her as well. LOL! 💜) I don't do this for money. I do this because I truly love spending time with dog babies. It brings me the utmost happiness to bring them joy and to know that I'm providing someone else peace of mind while they are away from their loved one.
Hi there! I am 23 years old living in NYC working in advertising, looking for babysitting opportunities. I have extensive babysitting experience with children whose ages range from infants to teenagers. I am CPR certified and majored in Human Development and Family Science at Syracuse University where I focused on child development and worked at an afterschool program for underprivileged children for the entirety of my senior year. During my time at Syracuse I was also a member of the division 1 women’s lacrosse team. I love to bake, read, run, and I love kids!
I have been working with kids since I was 14. I have experience as an behavioral therapist with kids on the autism spectrum, as a professional nanny, and also as an intermittent babysitter. I've worked with kids age 0-15! I love kids and will bring a positive attitude and energetic spirit. I am a current Master's student at NYU silver school of social work looking for some part time babysitting opportunities.
I am a dedicated, intentional, fun and gentle personality with a deep love for children and a passion in serving and caring for others. In my blended family of four siblings , I am the eldest of three so my caregiving familiarity spans almost my entire life. Professionally, I have 4 years experience caring for little to medium humans from ages 1-16 in various roles like an after school teacher and summer camp counselor. From homework help to fun engaging activities to genuine joy in care, I'm there! Ready and eager to serve. I am also available for house and pet-sitting!
