Hi, I'm Sylvia. I've been a caregiver both personally and professionally for over 15 years. I've raised my own three children in Eugene, complete with 2 dogs, 3 cats and various little hamsters. I also helped my mother-in-law with her Alzheimer's care. I've assisted with doctors appointments, shopping and errands as well as light housework and cooking. I'm certified in Waldorf early childhood education and have taught in a Waldorf preschool and kindergarten. I have all background checks, CPR training, and a food handlers licence. Most recently I've had my own in-home preschool. My favorite activities with children include baking and cooking, arts and crafts, taking walks, gardening , reading and playtime. Most of all, I love watching and guiding each child as they grow into their unique self. As a mom, I also know the importance of having help and support.
