A little about me: I love going to the beach and being outside! I am very family oriented, I love my friends, going to concerts, going on adventures like hiking waterfalls and traveling to all sorts of new places! I love being outside so when I babysit and it’s a nice day- if you are comfortable with it I will take your kiddos on adventures around town to different parks, splash pads, etc! On days when staying inside is a better choice, there are plenty of activities we can think of to do! I’m a huge music fan and love the Beatles the most! When I babysit, I typically like to bring along my instruments for all my little friends to play (ukulele, harmonica, etc). I love to sing songs and do interactive songs like “We are the Dinosaurs” or “slippery fish.” I’m not a huge fan of screens- I don’t even have internet at my house haha! I try to be as engaging as possible- I realize, however, there are those times kiddos just want to watch a movie on a Friday night haha I don’t mind either way! I am a 53 year old woman who loves to work with children, seniors and pets. When my children were young, I owned a daycare in my home, for infants, up to school age children. I have raised 2 children of my own, who are both wonderful adults now. For the last 7 months I have been a live in caregiver for an 83 year old, disabled woman. I truly enjoyed caring for this lady, but have moved and looking to watch children again. I have a heart for helping others. In my spare time, I house sit for animals when the pet owners go away, as well as provide dog walking services. I love animals too and would be happy to help in whatever way needed.
