As a Mom of three grown children, I strongly believe in being proactive by providing guidance and positive support in age-appropriate and developmental level-appropriate activities, with an emphasis on growing and learning. My manner is calm and patient, with a focus on confidence building, clear communication, and fun! I am at all times aware that children model what adults do and say (both negative and positive!) I treat children with respect and kindness, without exception; I see mistakes as an opportunity to stop and gently learn the correct way. I feel very comfortable (and love!) caring for newborns and infants; feedings (breast milk and formula); baby food preparation; frequent diaper changes, nap times, new stimulations through reading, music, toys, walks, outings, etc. For older children, my experience includes morning and bedtime routines; meal preparation and serving; school / lesson drop-offs and pick-ups; tutoring; homework supervision; play date supervision; screen time monitoring; learning through reading, music, crafts, outdoor play, library, museum and playplace visits, etc. I also have experience in almost every aspect of household assistance; grocery inventory and shopping (including searching several stores for that one special item!), meal prep, laundry, cleaning, etc. Additionally, I am now available for pet care / sitting.
