I have 10+ years of experience working with children and recently have been building experience caring for infants. I have experience providing respite care for children with special needs as well as the elderly. I moved to Houston two years ago with my dog and have enjoyed getting to know the city through food, hiking and museums.

For five consecutive summers, I worked at my church’s summer camp, where I was responsible for supervising and engaging groups of children while their parents were at work. My role included organizing fun and educational activities, leading games, helping with crafts, preparing snacks, and ensuring each child felt safe, included, and cared for throughout the day. In addition to my camp experience, I’ve regularly babysat for families in my community, caring for children of various ages. I’m confident managing daily routines, including mealtimes, nap schedules, school pickups, and bedtime. I also assist with homework, encourage creative play, and maintain a calm, nurturing environment where kids can thrive. I’ve also been trusted by neighbors to care for their children and pets while they’re out of town. This has included feeding and walking pets, keeping routines consistent, light household tasks, and making sure the home stays tidy and secure. I’m known for being dependable, patient, and attentive. I genuinely enjoy building strong, positive relationships with kids and helping families feel supported. Caregiving isn’t just a job for me—it’s something I take pride in, and I always strive to go above and beyond to make sure children are happy, safe, and engaged.
