Hello! My name is Taylor, I just moved to Richmond this August and I am the Nanny for a 15-month-old Mon-Fri 10-3, except Tuesdays are 10-6. We do developmentally appropriate activities like practice using crayons, running/walking in the grass, and more! Before moving, I worked for a family babysitting their toddler son. I would take him to the park and the library, have reading and play time, and help with his fine motor skills as he is learning to walk. I also help with some cleaning like emptying/ filling dishwasher, cleaning countertops, sweeping, taking out trash, etc. I have worked in two learning centers/ daycares, so I have experience in all classes aged infant to school age. Hi, I'm Nairobi, and I'm a Psychology Bachelor’s student in my sophomore year. I love to sing, dance, do crafts, theatre, bake, build Legos, and be of service to others. I have been babysitting for individual children for almost 4 years and have done group babysitting multiple times. In addition to babysitting, I have done internships in elementary school and daycare. I have worked with babies and children from 6 months to 6 years old and have also been a short-term youth camp leader for preteens. I am comfortable babysitting up to two children, arts and crafts, outdoor games, meal preparation/bottle feeding, diaper changes, reading, nap/bedtime, light housekeeping, Richmond events, and museum/indoors play spaces in the area. I have a seafood allergy, so I can't be around seafood. I am also CPR/First Aid/AED Certified and completed an Advanced Child Care Training course through the American Red Cross. I also started my job as a behavioral therapist/technician with children in ABA therapy at the start of the summer. I'm mainly available on Saturdays between 8:00 am to 9:30 pm. If there are no changes to my schedule, I am available on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 12:30 pm- 7:00 pm and 3:30 pm- 9:00 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays. I don't have a car, so I would have to walk or use public transit with your child (if you are comfortable). I’m excited to create a fun and safe environment for your little ones!
