Hi, I’m Summer! I’m currently a part time nanny for twin 5 year olds and looking to pick up extra hours while I’m on break from school. I study Speech Pathology online and got certified this year to teach kids yoga which I’ve been loving and teach on occasion. I also have experience teaching swim lessons and have several years of childcare experience with kids of all ages, including multiple sets of twins. What activities would you like to do with your host children? Depending on the ages and the climate, I would do the following activities with the children: • 0 - 6 months: Early stimulation activities with water, sand, tempera and clay. Roll balls with sound, encourage crawling, rhythm with toys, feeding support and nursery rhymes. • 1 - 2 years: Activities that help them develop their early stimulation. Play with water balloons, threading games, fishing afternoon, sandbox, games with music, games with tempera paint and rope toys. • 2 - 5 years: Dance activities to the rhythm of music, building blocks, drawing pictures with different paintings, going up and down steps, drawing, painting silhouettes, taking them to the park, teaching them my mother tongue and helping them are their language.
