I'm a single woman from Chicago who lived overseas in Europe for years and worked as a live-out full-time nanny for 4 years as well as many years of babysitting toddlers and school age children. I speak English and French, but have a basic understanding of Spanish, German , Dutch, Mandarin and Russian. School runs, outside activity/class runs, in-home activities, meals and light errands are all ok! I have a background in both dance and studio art (as well as a psychology degree), so creative fun is an easy ask.

Hey y’all Parents of little People! I’m Dennise!  I’m an a country gal (Palmdale, CA) whose also an accountant, public relations communicator, Council carrier.  A mother (3 - grown-ups), grandmother of 3, avid reader, story teller, writer, gardener, lover of nature and animals, and yes little people (children).  I’ve worked concession as a parent volunteer in Girl Scouts, at the Ventura Fairgrounds for a dinosaur exhibition, an interactive promotional tour at Six Flags to rollout GoTarts. Manning children’s events at trade shows, and company picnics throughout Georgia, California and Washington.  Great at multi tasking, story time, outdoor activities and helping little people to see their world and themselves in imaginative and creative way. I used to be a helicopter parent, that 3rd one at 35 slowed my roll!! Now I just love to see the babes that belong to someone else!

I’m a site coordinator for a before and after school daycare center at one of the primary schools in the University Place school District. I have been employed at University Place Latchkey since 2015 when I was hired on as a teacher’s assistant. Looking for a family to help out during the day in between my splits.

I have a Master of Education and have been working with children for over ten years. I am kind and provide joyful experiences for kids while they are with me. I look forward to caring for your child/children while you are away.
