I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education, and a Master’s in Instructional Design. I've been a first-grade teacher for the past 8 years, and I’m passionate about working with children and animals. I began babysitting as a teenager and continued through college. Today, I’m a trusted caregiver for the children of close friends, and I fully understand the importance of creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. Outside of teaching, I volunteer with local rescues and foster dogs, providing them with a loving temporary home. I'm professional, friendly, and reliable—and committed to caring for every child or animal as if they were my own.

My goal as a babysitter is to provide a safe, caring, and playful environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and love the energy, curiosity, and joy they bring to everyday life. I have cared for and tutored children for much of my life. Growing up with triplet siblings gave me plenty of hands-on experience with toddlers, young children, and preteens, and taught me how to be patient, attentive, and adaptable when caring for multiple children at once. I am comfortable preparing meals, changing diapers, helping with potty training, assisting with homework, keeping children entertained, and maintaining their routines. I am also happy to help with light household tasks or errands when needed. I also have experience volunteering and working with children through YMCA Camp Shaver in Jemez Springs, New Mexico, where I participated in a two-year leadership and counselor-in-training program. I am currently completing clinical training in the Mayo Clinic echocardiography program and am looking for part-time childcare opportunities while I finish my program. I am a mother of a three year old. I am 25 years young but have a handful of years of experience taking care of children from 1-17. I’ve gained this experience taking care of/ babysitting my three year old, and 3 younger siblings. My siblings range from 11-21, and I have younger cousins I helped raise as well. Hi my name is Victoria and I am an ASU graduate who is also currently an ASU employee. I graduated with honors and bachelors of science in Biology and Psychology with an emphasis in Neurobiology. After focusing on my studies for so long I am taking this time to enjoy life by traveling, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new hobbies. In addition to my current part-time job, I would like to earn some other money on the side through helping families watch their most precious loved ones. I have plenty of previous experience taking care of children! I used to be the neighborhood babysitter when I was in junior high and high school, taking care of my next door neighbor's two children (starting at ages 3 and 7), and my other neighbor's daughter (aged 6-10). In addition, I was a volunteer and staff member at the local rec center for 6 years. There, I was in charge of running sports and arts and crafts activities for children aged 5-12. They also had me work our cool kids club where I watched children aged 2-5 while their parents worked out or took a trip to the library. I also have an abundance of experience in watching peoples' pets. I have taken care of the furry friends of neighbors, friends, and family for as long as I can remember! I have grown up with family dogs and know the amount of responsibility it takes to make sure they are loved and living an enriched life. Currently, I take care of my roommate's dog on a regular basis, and she frequently has dogs over for overnight stays, where I assist as well. In college, I was a research assistant in the Canine Science Collaboratory, where we ran behavioral studies on dogs. Through that experience, I can effectively determine a dog's temperament and any special needs they may need to feel comfortable. Though most of my experience is with dogs, I also feel comfortable with cats and other pets and love them just as much! I am just an animal girl at heart. I am willing to take on any cleaning or household tasks that families may need help with as well. I just love staying busy!
