Hello everyone reading this! About me: I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old and absolutely love children! Whether it was for the neighbors next door, at the church nursery or for some of my high school teachers, I grew up watching kids! Although I'm more familiar with children from infancy to 6 years of age, I don't shy away from kids who are older. I am a very upbeat and outgoing person so I'm always getting down on the floor and playing with children and helping them expand their imagination! If you have any questions or want to know anything else about my experience, please don't hesitate to ask! :)
“Kaci was wonderful! She arrived on time and was personable and professional. My kid had a hard time when we left but she stayed calm and sent a picture of him happily playing after we left. It’s intimidating hiring someone you’ve never met before to watch your beloved child. I’m happy to endorse Kaci for any caregiving responsibility and I look forward to working with her again! Thank yoj for everything, Kaci.”
Hello! I am Los Angeles based, working part time in advertising and looking for a regular part time or occasional childcare position, ideally 10-15 hours a week. I am one of six kids and began working with children at the age of 13. I'm now in my thirties, with many years of nannying behind me. I have taken care of children of all ages and stages of childhood. I have been certified in CPR in the past, and would be willing to update that certification if needed. I am fun, present, and engaging with children. I believe in the importance of enjoying nature, and will often take children on hikes or other outdoor excursions. As a former ballet dancer, I have taught children's dance classes and encourage creative expression in whichever form it might appear. In prior nanny positions I've offered tutoring/homework help with elementary and high school courses. I'm happy to cook, have no problem dropping off/picking up at school, and do have my own vehicle if any transportation is needed. I am also willing to do light house cleaning. I encourage creativity and growth with the children and allow for a fun and safe environment to learn and play, while being sensitive to each little one's individual needs. Thank you for your interest and I look forward to getting to know you and your family!
“Fantastic, highly recommend. Punctual, communicative, and attentive!”
Hi, I’m Emily! I have worked in childcare for about 10+ years, I have been a sitter/nanny, a counselor, a swim coach/instructor and a day care worker. I have a day job where I work for ESPN but I love to work with kids because it makes me happy! I can work with a wide range of ages and a wide range of kids!
“Emily was great. My kids warmed up to her quickly. She was on time and asked great questions. She has great communication. I would definitely request her again. ”
Hi, my name is Angelina . I am a full time educator and a part time nanny. I have 3+ years of experience working with children both in the classroom setting as well as in their own home. My passion is teaching children and guiding them to the right path. During my time as a nanny, I have taken care of children, animals and homes. During my service, I tidy up and I cook meals. I am a very interactive person who is very active. Lastly, I graduated with a Bachelors in Criminology and Justice Studies, so it’s safe to say that I am a trustworthy person.
Hi! I'm Kate, and I can help with a lot of things! In my work as a caregiver, educator, and developmental interventionist, I am deeply committed to helping children understand that they matter. In 2018 I earned a master’s degree in School Counseling which gave me in-depth training in child development, social-emotional learning, and behavioral support. After working for years in public schools in various advising/interventionist roles, I decided to apply my knowledge and skills in more flexible, hands-on settings — working directly with children and families in their homes. I encourage curiosity, creativity, and fun in my work with kids. My classroom experience has given me a lot of tools such as ways to make routines fun, communicating rules and expectations, using positive reinforcement, and tons of arts and crafts ideas. Through patient guidance and empathy, I help children build their communication skills and practice emotional regulation so they can thrive socially and academically. Each child is unique, and each one deserves to feel confident in their ability to learn and grow in their own way- I can help them with that! My ultimate goal is to be a positive and empathetic presence in your home. How can I help?
“Kate is very creative and patient. Our girls love her!”
