I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and a Master’s degree in Education, which have given me both the knowledge and hands-on skills to support children’s growth, learning, and well-being. After graduating from college, I worked as a full-time nanny for three years with one wonderful family, where I built a strong, lasting relationship and gained valuable experience in daily care, routines, and developmental support. I then transitioned into teaching where I have been the last seven years in elementary, and currently I teach 3rd grade. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and safety is always my top priority. These days, I've more time to work and support the family financially - with children attending expensive programs this is important to me. I'm originally from the Hudson Valley in NY State. However, I've lived in SF for 25 years. I've work experience in corporate and nonprofits worlds. I understand the pressure and environments for moms and parents. Since 2018, I've been an on call Sr. Event Coordinator for the de Young and Legion of Honor. I loved exploring the city when my children were all ages. I also loved being home with them. I especially loved reading childrens' books with them - Two favorites are 'Stars' by Mary Lyn Ray and 'The Rabbit Listened' by Cory Doerrfeld.
