I am a highly experienced caregiver and educator offering a premium, enrichment-focused childcare experience. With a doctorate in music and over 20 years of service as a youth teacher in my church community, I bring a unique blend of academic depth, creativity, and nurturing care to each family I work with. As a mother of two (ages 11 and 16), I understand firsthand the importance of consistency, structure, and emotional attunement. I create an environment where children are not only well cared for, but also intellectually and creatively engaged through music, guided learning, and thoughtful interaction. My weekday afternoons are dedicated to my work as a piano instructor and to caring for my own children; I am now intentionally seeking to support younger families during morning/early afternoon hours, where I can offer high-quality care. I approach every child with the same level of love, attentiveness, and responsibility that I give my own, and I value building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents.
Hi, my name is Elysia, and I am currently a senior at UCLA. I have a passion for working with children and serving our youth in any way I can. Kids truly bring so much joy to life, and I love connecting with them while supporting their growth, confidence, and creativity. I hope to not only be a caregiver, but also a positive mentor and role model for the children I work with. I have hands on experience working at the Boys & Girls Club, where I formulated weekly lesson plans that encouraged student participation through interactive activities and creative projects. I focused fun and engaging learning experiences while fostering an environment where children felt safe to express themselves and develop critical thinking skills. Creating a supportive and welcoming space was always my top priority. Through this role, I demonstrated strong leadership and mentorship by guiding students in personal growth, helping them set attainable goals, and motivating them through positive reinforcement and recognition of their accomplishments. This approach helped increase their self confidence and enthusiasm toward both academics and daily life. I also implemented structured daily routines to provide consistency, while maintaining a warm, caring, and positive attitude when working with both individuals and groups of children. Overall, I strive to ensure a safe, nurturing, and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and inspired to be their best selves. I truly love working with kids and feel grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives.
I’m a reliable and trustworthy mom from Castro Valley with a wonderful ninth-grader. I previously taught at a public school here in Castro Valley, and I hold an active California teaching credential for multiple subjects and special education. I love caring for children, tutoring, and would be happy to support a parent who is homeschooling. I have a clean California driver’s license, full insurance coverage, and I’m certified to drive for field trips at my son’s school.
Hello, my life has always revolved around children. I worked with my local school district for over 20 years as a Chid Aide. The program was designed to improve a child's self-esteem and improve comfortability in a social setting. This was done through interactive play sessions where a child can truly be themselves. Apart from raising my own three children, I have also worked at a daycare providing a safe and educational environment for up to 12 children. Nutritional cooking is also a big part of my life and something I enjoy sharing. My passion is caring for children in fun, educational, musical, and artistic ways.
“Such a great caretaker. Jumped in on short notice to help with my 1y and 5y and was great with both. I felt at ease immediately with Alexandra in our house and hope to work with her again.”
Hello! My name is Kassandra, however, I prefer to go by Kassie. (I apologize that video in my profile is old, I will update it when I can). I am a student who works as a waitress as it is accommodating. I am currently enrolled at SJSU as a Psychology major with a double minor in Child Development and Sociology. I’m looking down a career pathway of becoming a Child Psychologist, therapist/counselor, school counselor, behaviorist therapist or something along that path. I love working with children and I want to make a career out of it. I have received AAs in Psychology, Allied Health, Natural Science and Health Education. I love to help others. I’ve always wanted to follow in my grandma’s footsteps with saving lives and making a difference by working in the medical field. I am COVID-19 vaccinated and boosted as well as flu vaccinated. I have also received all my other vaccines. My experience with children goes back to when I first started babysitting at the age of 12. I have worked at day cares where I have experience with children from infancy to 15 years of age. I am comfortable with all age groups. I do not smoke. I love animals as well so pets are never an issue! I have experience house sitting/petsitting as well. I have been house sitting/petsitting since I was 13 years old. It first started out with watching my neighbor’s house and cats while they were gone and progressed to dog sitting/cat sitting at other people’s houses. I am very responsible and respectful of other people's homes. I clean up after myself and make sure the house looks like it did when I arrived.
“My daughter loved Kassie. She was sweet and communicated well with us. I would definitely recommend booking her.”
