I have been working with children for almost fourteen years, and was a Preschool Teacher for over five years. I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Development from SF State University. Prior to the covid-19 shutdown I worked as a teacher at Rockridge Little School in Piedmont for two years, where I worked with all ages groups (2-5 years) I also worked as a teacher at Claremont Day Nurseries Preschool in Kensington. I was a two year old teacher for one year, and then became a floater teacher for all the age groups (ages 2-5). Prior to this I started up an after-care organization with my mother in 2009 until 2012, where we took care of over nine children after-school per day, ages 6-10. On my work days I would spend the day playing with the kids, doing arts and crafts, providing homework help and overall enjoying the company of the children until the parents would come back from work. I love to do drawing/arts and crafts projects with the kids I take care of if possible, and really enjoy the creativity it brings out in each child. I have found my experiences with children to be both educational and heart-warming, and for those reasons have helped me develop as a person and I feel make me qualified to join the urban-sitter community.
Hi there! I am a graduate from USF with a background in healthcare and a Micro-Credential in Behavioral Health. With over 10 years of experience working with children in daycare settings and ABA (applied behavior analysis), specializing in kids with autism, I am well-equipped to provide care for your little ones. I have worked with children of all ages, from infants and toddlers to school-aged kids and teenagers, and I am passionate about engaging them in fun and enriching activities both indoors and outdoors. I am CPR/BSL certified, up-to-date on my FLU vaccine and TB test, and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. I prioritize open communication and honesty with the families I work with, and I am always willing to lend a helping hand with light household tasks. I do provide more help for additional fees; please ask about this, and we can discuss further. Whether it's a day full of outdoor adventures or indoor activities like reading, puzzles, and arts and crafts, I am dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for your children (I have little nephews and a niece so I think about how I would want them cared for and provide that level of care to children I work with). I am comfortable wearing a mask if needed and am happy to accommodate any special requests or concerns you may have. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about me, please don't hesitate to reach out. I am excited to connect with your family and provide the best possible care for your little ones. Thank you for considering me for your babysitting needs!

Hi! I'm Yalili. I bring a warm, structured approach to childcare—whether it's story time, arts and crafts, or helping with routines. I'm bilingual (English/Spanish), patient, and attentive to each child's unique personality and needs. I also love encouraging little ones' curiosity and supporting busy parents however I can. Whether you're looking for someone part-time, occasional, or backup care, I’d love to support your family with love, structure, and reliability.
Hello, I am Julia. I am a teacher with over 7 years of experience caring for and providing education to children. 2 years ago I established myself as an independent teacher after having worked as an Early Childhood educator in a Waldorf school for 5 years. As an independent teacher I specialize in teaching sewing and clothing design. I also enjoy providing care for young children and pets. I am a very attentive and gentle woman with lots of experience as a teacher and I possess a natural care giving ability. I have mainly taught children ages 2-11, along with recently providing care for a young man of 22 years who had a disability. I have been teaching clothing design & sewing over the past 9 years. I really value fostering the creativity of children and enjoy assisting them in bringing their ideas to life. I am Waldorf trained and I believe in the importance of nurturing the holistic well being of young children. I have been making clothing since I was 7 years old and I am trained in clothing construction and clothing design, having operated my own clothing line for 4 years before my teaching career started. I also love to cook, paint, decorate homes and participate in many creative activities. One of my main love languages is cooking for others. I have lots of experience with animals. I fostered rescue cats for 4 years and I also do pet setting. I know how to administer medicines and offer a calm environment. I also have recently become a certified yoga teacher and I have also started to teach yoga classes. I am also offering that within my care services.
“Julia was such a natural with kids, even my daughter with separation anxiety. She was patient and intuitive. Sometimes you meet sitters who are more skilled with children than most parents. This is Julia. A++. Thank you!”
