I came to the United States from Ukraine two and a half years ago to help my brother care for his children. At that time, the older girl was five years old and the younger had just been born. I cared for them full-time until recently, when the younger one began kindergarten. Through this experience, I discovered how much I enjoy working with children and how rewarding caregiving can be. My professional background is in healthcare — I am trained as a nurse — which has given me a strong foundation in responsibility, patience, and attentiveness to others’ needs. In addition, I have completed CPR and First Aid training here in the U.S., so families can feel confident that their children are in safe hands. I am also a competitive swimmer, and I did musical theatre when I was younger. I can help with both childcare and pet care. I am a certified lifeguard through the American Red Cross. I have experience working with children of all abilities and disabilities, with responsibilities including helping with homework and after-school activities.
