Hi there! Looking for families that need a date night sitter or occasional coverage etc! My name is Claudia and I have been nannying full time for years. I am a nanny/caregiver and a family assistant as well as a certified lifeguard + swim instructor (First Aid and CPR certifications valid) and animal lover!! I am college educated as well (CCSF and SSU). I’m here to make your life easier, so that you can have a worry free night out or work day! I have lots experience working with very busy families with siblings that need to be picked up and driven to various activities, helping with homework, running errands, meal prep, organizing, laundry, bath time, feeding pets and juggling schedules and medical appointments! I will always make sure your children are having fun (playing games, art, sport activities) and are safe at all times, ensuring smooth pickups and drop offs so that they can arrive to their activities/extracurriculars on time safely, and effortlessly. I’m reliable and enjoy taking care of children & teaching, I love swimming and tennis. I have been working with children since I was 14. I’m fun, passionate, attentive, bubbly, responsible and caring. I speak fluent (as well as reading and writing fluently) French, English, Spanish and some Italian. I promise that your children will have a great time with me as their safety first nanny! I have my own car and I’m a very safe driver!
“We had a great experience with Claudia and our kids loved her!”
Hello! My name is Amanda, and I’m a former nanny with over 7 years of childcare experience caring for newborns, infants, toddlers. I worked as a nanny while attending college in the U.S. Professionally, my background is in marketing and advertising, but caring for children has always been one of my greatest passions in life. Currently, I’m looking for occasional babysitting opportunities to support local families. The majority of my experience has been with newborns and infants, supporting families through the important early stages of development. I have extensive experience establishing feeding routines, supporting healthy sleep habits, engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities, and creating nurturing environments where children feel safe, loved, and secure. Throughout my journey, I have worked with both long-term and short-term families and have experience caring for multiple children at the same time, including siblings with different developmental needs and schedules. I am comfortable balancing feedings, naps, activities, meal preparation, transportation, and daily routines while ensuring each child receives individualized attention. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have experience supporting families with sleep training, Baby-Led Weaning (BLW), potty training, and Montessori-inspired learning. I believe in fostering independence, confidence, and curiosity while maintaining a warm, patient, and loving approach. Outside of childcare, I am an outdoorsy person who loves nature and living an active lifestyle. I currently live on a sailboat in the Bay Area, which has strengthened my appreciation for adventure, exploration, and the natural world. I enjoy incorporating outdoor activities, walks, playground visits, and nature-based learning experiences into children’s daily routines whenever possible. I pride myself on being dependable, patient, communicative, and supportive. My goal is to become a trusted extension of the family while creating a warm environment where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to thrive. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile! I hope we have the opportunity to meet and work together. I’d be honored to care for your little ones and become someone your family can rely on. I look forward to connecting with you!
“Amanda is an absolute natural with children - she has a mother’s instinct and immediately inspired trust in just a few hours of watching her interact with my 5 month old. In the 3 weeks we worked with Amanda while our nanny was on vacation, she was highly reliable, a top notch communicator, and a pleasant positive person to have around our family. Within days she had my baby on a predictable routine that exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be working with Amanda again (and she would be our first choice for child care!)”
Hi, I am a 20 year old part time college student from the east bay. I am trained in conflic resolution and outdoor education, I am a lifeguard with CPR certification. I took ASL for 4 years in high-school, and am proficient and able to communicate clearly in ASL. I have worked in many different forms of child care. I have taught and directed circus summer camps as well and classes for 3 years, working with students ages 6 to 15. I taught and demonstrated different circus forms, helping each student succeed. I volunteered as a youth cabin leader for a non-profit organization for 6 weeks over the last 3 years, working with ages 8 to 12. I lived in the cabins with 7-9 students, attending to their needs and supporting them in their social-emotional development. Last spring I was hired as a Facilitation Fellow, I was then in charge of a youth leader as well as a cabin of 7-9 students during the morning and evenings. During the day I taught the curriculum, including conflic resolution, assertiveness and the importance of diversity to 15-16 upper elementary students at a time.
“Lovely, punctual, my son had a great time ”
Hi families! I'm María, an Elementary Teacher from Spain with over 12 years of experience working with children of all ages—from newborns to teens. Over the years, I’ve been a babysitter, camp counselor, activity leader, and spent a wonderful year as an au pair here in California—an experience that made me fall in love with the Bay Area, where I now live! I’m passionate about creating a positive, safe, and fun environment where kids feel happy, supported, and free to be themselves. Whether it’s playing, helping with homework, guiding routines, or simply being a caring presence, I always adapt to each child’s needs and personality. Fluent in both Spanish and English, I love to bring creativity, communication, and even a little language learning into our time together. I'm also happy to help with light housekeeping, meal prep, and anything that makes your family’s day smoother. If you're looking for someone experienced, warm, and genuinely dedicated to kids of all ages, I’d love to meet you!
“Maria is incredible with my kids. She understands them so well, and she built rapport with them so fast. She is very understanding of their hard moments, too. I recommend her super highly—she’s one of the best caretakers we’ve worked with before.”
My name is Nina, and I am from Sacramento, CA. I am an alumni Psychology major from Menlo College. While attending Menlo College, I also played on the collegiate women's soccer team. I love outdoors and athletics. I currently work as a recruiting coordinator at Menlo College, but before that I worked at SJND High School as an Academic Success Coach. Working at SJND has helped me learn so many new things contributing to my career as a caregiver. I have a true passion for working with children and I am so excited about the opportunity to meet new families and create a relationship with kids. I hope to hear from you :)
“Nina was amazing. Can’t wait yo have her back! ”
