Hi - My name is Yulianna and I'm currently a junior at SJSU. I am offering child care, senior care, and household services. I love being a babysitter and have been watching, infants, toddlers, and kids. I have a strong background in working with children, working as a teacher aide and teacher for schools throughout the Bay Area. I am a registered behavioral technician and am CPR/BLS certified. My responsibilities have included driving to/from school, crafts, tutoring, and even dance lessons. I also work as a household assistant and can cook, clean, and run errands. I have been a caretaker for my own grandparent and am comfortable with senior care. I can cook, drive to appointments, or do other tasks. I am allergic to cats but happy to work with families with dogs.
⸻ Since 2007, I have dedicated my professional life to working with children and supporting their growth, development, and success. My background as a special education teacher has given me extensive experience working with children of different ages, personalities, learning styles, and abilities. Throughout my career, I have developed strong skills in patience, communication, organization, problem-solving, and emotional support, all of which I believe are essential qualities for an excellent caregiver and nanny. Working with children is more than just a job for me—it is something I genuinely enjoy and feel passionate about. I take pride in helping children build confidence, achieve goals, and feel safe, supported, and encouraged in their daily lives. As a special education teacher, I work closely with children who have unique learning and developmental needs. This experience has taught me how to be adaptable, compassionate, and attentive to each child’s individual personality and needs. I understand that every child learns differently and responds differently to situations, routines, and communication styles. Because of this, I always approach caregiving with patience, understanding, and flexibility. I believe children thrive best when they feel heard, respected, and cared for in a positive environment. Over the years, I have worked with students on academic goals, social skills, behavioral development, emotional regulation, and daily life skills. My work requires consistency, creativity, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. I have learned how to encourage children in a supportive way while also maintaining structure and routines that help them feel secure and confident. These same skills translate naturally into being a nanny and caregiver. I understand the importance of creating a stable, nurturing, and positive atmosphere where children can grow emotionally, socially, and academically. One of the things I enjoy most about working with children is helping them recognize their strengths and abilities. I believe every child has potential, and I enjoy finding ways to motivate and encourage them to succeed. Whether I am helping with homework, guiding a child through challenges, organizing activities, or simply spending quality time together, I strive to create meaningful interactions that support their development and happiness. I truly enjoy seeing children gain confidence, learn new skills, and accomplish goals.
Hi there! I am employed full-time at a non-profit serving foster youth, and a part-time student at CSU East Bay, working to get my Master's in Social Work. I've always done babysitting on the side, but my two most recent families I babysat for were a couple with two boys (4 and 6) and a couple with a 1 year old girl, and a 6 year old boy. I did date nights for both of these families for five years. I enjoy babysitting (kids are so fun!), and strive to be a safe, nurturing presence when their parents/caregivers are away. I love being able to be goofy and creative with them too! If you have any more questions about me or my experience, please reach out!
Hi! I’m a caring, responsible, and patient caregiver who enjoys spending time with children and helping families feel supported. I have experience caring for kids of different ages and I always focus on creating a safe, fun, and positive environment. I’m reliable, organized, and comfortable helping with routines, meals, playtime, bedtime, and light household tasks. I’m also flexible with occasional babysitting and part-time care, and I always try to make children feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for.
“Jhenifer was great with our little girls. They absolutely loved her. She watched them for a full night after a long day and helped with dinner and bed time.”
Hi, I'm Kimberly! I offer child care, pet care, and senior care. I'm in a transitional career stage, love kids, and have a background art/design and food. Caring for your kids is a great way to combine these things while I figure out what's next. Happy to engage in activities, go to the park, read, draw, stay off screens if preferred, make healthy snacks/meals, adhere to your routines and boundaries, and be a trustworthy (and hopefully fun) buddy. Most of my recent experience with kids is more casual: hanging out with friends' kids. I have a fair amount of distant babysitting experience from years ago! Happy to offer referrals. I'm gluten-free but can cook anything, and know my way around dietary restrictions.
