Hello! My name is Chloe and I am an enthusiastic childcare professional dedicated to encouraging the development of the whole, healthy child. I am available occasional weekday evenings and weekends for sitting. I have my Bachelor's of Science in Developmental Psychology with a minor in sociology and more than enough Early Childhood Education and Development credits under my belt. In regards to my experience in the early childhood field, I have spent the majority of my time for the past 10 years working with young children of different ages and aptitudes, in both schools and in the home. I started nannying during my undergraduate career and then worked in a private French-American preschool for 2 years prior to temporarily moving to LA. During my 6 months in LA, I worked as a lead infant teacher in an early learning center. Now that I’m back in San Diego, I have been caring for 2 kiddos full-time and working occasional date-nights and weekends (if COVID precautions have been taken). I have experience with children of all ages from newborns to 13 year olds, as well as children with special needs (autism, behavioral problems, visual impairments). I specialize in early childhood, so the majority of the jobs I take are with children under 5 years old. I am very patient and understanding but also a believer in firmness and care/love. My outgoing personality and high level of energy allow me to keep up with even the most rambunctious little ones. My babysitting style is characterized by playing, creativity, exploration, and books/reading, and I do my best to keep TVs/tablets off when I babysit. In my free time I enjoy being outside, hiking, rollerskating, swimming, reading, spending time with my family, and seeing all the children I had cared for. It is my goal to provide enriching, enjoyable, and meaningful experiences for your children while making sure they feel safe and loved. Magda Gerber says it best: “When we help a child to feel secure, feel appreciated, feel that ‘somebody is deeply, truly interested in me’, by the way we just look, the way we just listen, we influence that child’s whole personality, the way that child sees life.” If you have any questions or would like to know more about what I did as a nanny for each family, please let me know; I'd be happy to answer any questions about my previous employment and am more than happy to send a resume and references.
“Kind, fun, brought her own fun activities for the kids, was attentive to their needs, and was thorough in remembering bedtime routines. Appreciate it!!!”
Hi there! I’m very excited about the opportunity to work with your family and help make your home life easier. I come from a family of 6 and have had experience with childcare since my teen years. I have been working as a dance instructor for over 10 years with a special interest in Early Childhood classes. In recent years I have transitioned to my career as a professional nanny with experience in multiple age groups and family assistant roles helping parents complete errands, home tasks and cooking. I love to help kids use their imagination, gain thinking skills, and appreciate nature. I am also pet friendly, tidy, crafty, and enjoy cooking/baking treats!
As a dedicated caregiver and mother of three school-aged children, I am deeply committed to nurturing every child's growth, learning, and happiness. With years of hands-on experience caring for children of all ages, I bring warmth, patience, and creativity to every babysitting role. I go beyond basic supervision-I love engaging kids in both indoor and outdoor play, helping with homework, and creating fun, memorable activities that let them shine. Safety and trust are at the heart of my care; I always strive to create a supportive, secure environment where children feel comfortable and parents have complete peace of mind. I am flexible with scheduling, available for both daytime and evening care, and am happy to provide references from local families I have supported. Helping families achieve balance matters deeply to me, and I aim to support your household so every family member thrives. I would be excited to meet your family and become a trusted part of your support network.
“Olga was great!!”
I am a 25 year old college graduate looking for some night work as I work full time during the day. I have a background in medical, working for 3 years as a hospital corpsman in an inpatient and labor/delivery ward, I am first aid qualified, and I am currently active duty military. My childcare background comes from a mixture of infant care while working labor and delivery and also having 6 siblings (the youngest of which I adopted due to my father’s death). I also have a background in working as a dog trainer (with a specialty in huskies and German Shepards) and am trained in basic pet first aid. While working inpatient, I also dealt with many elderly patients as far as in-unit hospice cases, and I am more than open to helping care for anyone whether they are at the start or end of their life! I only speak English (and some German/Russian for dog training), so households that mainly speak another language likely won’t be a good fit. For any households looking for overnight care, I will set hard return times to ensure I can make it to work by 0700. Please reach out if you have any questions! I’m an open book and know that entrusting someone with those we care for can be stressful.
Hello! My name is Emma, and I’m a caring, dependable, and responsible person who genuinely enjoys helping others and creating a safe, comfortable environment for the people and pets in my care. I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your loved ones, your home, or your pets. I believe that trust is built through kindness, reliability, respect, and being attentive to the individual needs of each person and family. My background is in education and energy healing. I’ve worked as an elementary school classroom aide in my 20s, a middle school and high school substitute teacher in my 30s, and a pre-k language assessor for the San Diego County School District in my 40s. I’m also an energy healing guide and have over 15 years of experience leading sound bath meditations and practicing a healing-hands approach. Throughout my life, I’ve been drawn to helping and caring for others. I believe every life is precious, and I feel honored whenever someone trusts me with the care of someone or something important to them. I would love the opportunity to learn about your specific needs, routines, and preferences and see how I can be helpful to you and your family. I look forward to connecting!
