Hi, my name is Faith- I grew up in and love San Francisco. When I'm not babysitting, I'm surf instructing middle and high school age kids, baking, or singing to my cat. I'm CPR and first aid certified for infants, toddlers, and adults. I have experience working with infants and toddlers both on outings and at home, and elementary school aged children at home, sleep away camps, and surf summer camps. I love reading with kids, as well as baking, doing crafts, or leaving the house to walk or go to the park. When working with kids I think it's important to have empathy and and patience, as well as respect for their boundaries and autonomy. I like to resolve conflict by making sure everyone feels heard and allowing children to feel and have space to process big emotions. I take care of my cat, Dumpling, at home, and I have experience feeding, walking, and sitting for dogs. I'm also always open to caring for other pets and broadening my knowledge.
