Hello, I'm Shannan, an artistpreneuer, here to help you relieve any scheduling pressure. I was a reading interventionist for 5 years for Marietta School System in Atlanta. I've also remotely tutored elementary age students with Reading Partners LA . If your child needs help reading, I'd love to get them on their reading level. During my busy season, I facilitate youth workshops for churches, schools and youth programs to show them the importance of being a servant leader. I was a caretaker for about 2 years as a companion for Seniors doing private duty care. My heart is soft for elders and children. Kindness is what I lead with so I'm dependable and patient. I am a humble servant leader. Careful. I value respect. Transparency, cleanliness, honesty and integrity are traits of my "ideal" clients' family. While I don't have any children of my own, I love the 13 neices and nephews I've been blessed with. Your loved one will be in good hands with me. I love music and marketing. Occasionally, I produce poetry events and I like watching documentaries on PBS. Im a life learner. I love the Lord and I work for him. Hoping to hear from you soon! Shannan
Intro: Hi! Here are small tidbits about me! I'm a full-time student looking for part-time, weekend jobs to pay off my tuition. I speak both English and Spanish, the latter only at an advanced level. I grew up in San Diego and go back during the breaks. My hobbies include anything arts and craft related and tennis. Although I tend to be less outspoken as an introvert, I believe my good-naturedness finds a way to shine through. I value authenticity, integrity, and doing everything to the best of my ability! Experience: At the moment, I've listed everything as "no experience" because I have none in a formal setting. However, I have 3 younger sisters who I helped raise. Raised by a single mom, a lot of my life has revolved around taking care of them. With the youngest being 9 years younger than me, I'm familiar, albeit rusty, with infant and toddler care, but I'm well experienced with taking care of elementary school children to pre-teens. Curly haircare ( type 3) and homework help make up my most recent skills related to childcare. Regarding pets and taking care of elders, I have no experience there, but I'm 100% willing to learn.
Rebecca was raised in La Cañada Flintridge and has spent the last nineteen years supporting children’s health, development, and learning. Her childcare journey began at age twelve, when she started babysitting for families in her community—an experience that helped her build long-lasting, trusted relationships. She also provided low-cost tutoring to children who needed extra academic support, further strengthening her passion for individualized care. At seventeen, Rebecca began working at a local Montessori school with children ages 2–6, quickly growing into the role of Lead Teacher and managing her own classroom of toddlers and preschoolers. After five years, she opened her own Montessori program serving children from 6 months to 6 years old, giving her deep, hands-on experience with infant through early-childhood developmental stages. Rebecca attended UCLA, where she earned her Certificate in Early Childhood Education, and she is internationally recognized as a Montessori educator for ages 0–3 and 3–6 through the North American Montessori Center. She later graduated with honors from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education Administration. In addition to her broad teaching and caregiving experience, Rebecca has worked closely with children with both diagnosed and suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder. She specializes in recognizing early signs of cognitive, behavioral, and speech delays and collaborates with the Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center to help families access the services they need. Today, Rebecca brings her expertise, calm presence, and genuine love for children into the homes of families seeking a dependable, highly qualified babysitter. With strong communication skills, extensive developmental knowledge, and nearly two decades of childcare experience, she strives to create safe, nurturing, and engaging environments for every child in her care. **Willing to share my recent Yelp Reviews!**
Hi! I’m Sophia 🌿 I have twenty years of experience working with children in a variety of settings—supporting kids on the autism spectrum (ages 2–18), working as a summer camp counselor teaching kayaking, and spending summers working at a beach camp in Santa Monica with kids ages 3–13. As well as an away camp working with kids of all ages for a summer when I was 18. I’ve also assisted in a Montessori classroom for ages 3–6 and have two sweet nephews (Ray Ray, 12, and Theo, 8) whom I adore and have helped care for regularly. I have been babysitting for different families since I was 12 years old. I studied psychology at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I developed a deep love for the outdoors. Whether I’m hiking, biking, or surfing, being in nature is a big part of my life. I love working with children because it brings out my playful and nurturing side. I’m known for being calm, kind, and grounded, and I bring a lot of presence and care into the spaces I hold with kids. Friends and colleagues often describe me as genuine, patient, and full of heart. Fun facts about me: I love swing dancing, singing circles, and playing the ukulele. I’m also a certified Reiki Master and integrative health coach and run a coaching business focused on healing and personal growth. I bring emotional attunement, nervous system regulation and loving presence into my childcare. I’m currently looking for a summer position and am available until mid-September. Looking forward to connecting with you and your family!
