Hi, my name is Rikki and I am currently a part time nanny for a wonderful 8 month old boy. I have always loved children! I started helping in the church children’s room when I was 12 then started babysitting when I was 13. I worked at. Day care with all ages from infant up to 5 years old in my early 20s before going into the medical field. Approximately 3 years ago I came back to working with children as a mommy’s helper then nanny/babysitter. I am cpr certified, love animals and I am a very outgoing person. I am currently seeking part time work or as needed for date nights!
I’am a calm, attentive, and responsible babysitter who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I focus on creating a safe, positive environment where kids feel comfortable, heard, and engaged. I’m patient and adaptable, whether that means helping with homework, organizing fun and creative activities, or simply sticking to a child’s routine so they feel secure. I pay close attention to details—like dietary needs, bedtime schedules, and house rules—and I take those seriously. I also believe communication is key, so I make sure to keep parents informed and follow their preferences closely. At the same time, I bring a warm, friendly energy so kids see me as someone they can trust and have fun with, not just someone in charge. Overall, I aim to be dependable, nurturing, and someone both parents and children feel confident with.
For two decades, I've dedicated myself to nurturing young minds and creating enriching environments for children. My passion stems from witnessing their incredible growth and development. I enjoy using my creative and imaginative personality to engage children in outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and caring up to two children, ages newborn to to seven. I maintain open communication with parents, providing updated through verbal discussions or text, always respecting your preferred method. My background includes Early Childhood Education coursework, First Aid training, and CPR Training. I'm also happy to help with cooking and crafts. I hope to bring my experience and love for childcare to your family.
Hi! I’m Gabrielle. I’m a responsible, caring, and dependable person who genuinely loves spending time with children. I’ve been involved in my church’s children’s ministry since I was a teenager, caring for children of all ages—from just a few months old through high school. Over the years, that experience has taught me how to connect with different personalities and age groups, keep children engaged, manage routines, and create an environment where they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m patient, attentive, organized, and happy to help with age-appropriate activities, simple meals or snacks, and light household tasks. I’m also very comfortable around pets. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident in the person caring for their children, so I take safety, communication, reliability, and trust very seriously. I truly love kids and would be happy to become someone your family can depend on.
I have 20+ years experience working with newborns to teens. I’ve spent over a decade as a professional nanny/sitter in San Francisco Bay Area. I usually work with newborns/ infants/ toddlers, so I'm fully vaccinated with documentation. Received a certificate of completion as a newborn care specialist from Newborn Care Training Academy. My earliest childcare experience comes from growing up in a big family. I have 6 siblings and they have 10 kids who I've helped raise. In previous jobs, my duties included dog-walking, driving, light housekeeping/cooking, kid's laundry, sleep training, potty-training, baby-led weaning, baby massage, baby sign language, using cloth diapers, working in a nanny share, caring for twins/multiples, and physical therapy (epilepsy). I was a teacher's aide for preschool, kindergarten, and 1st grade. I've tutored K-12 students in reading and writing comprehension, basic class assignments and computer literacy. I’ve taught melodic percussion and play the ukulele. I can handle multiple children because I worked as a Kid's Club Attendant at 24-Hour Fitness --- busy with arts & crafts, jungle gym, song and dance parties. I drive to work from Berkeley Hills. Please let me know if there's any parking restrictions where you live (street cleaning/other parking rules). ________ VACCINATIONS Flu: 1/8/2026 Covid-19: 9/28/2025 HepB: 11/23/2016 Tdap: 11/22/2016 ________ - Adult/Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED certified 5/3/25 - Member of International Nanny Association - CA Trustline Certified ________ POLICIES I expect to be paid the same whether the child is asleep/awake with the exception of overnight/travel jobs. Let's discuss expectations and negotiate. EARLY/LATE RETURNS: This work is my main source of income. Because I plan my time and budget around the hours booked, I ask to be paid for the entire booking even if you come home early. I'm usually flexible on the end time of a booking, but text/call if you'll be late, especially if we have not discussed flexibility beforehand. I occasionally book jobs back-to-back with just enough time for travel in between, and your late return can have an unfortunate impact on my schedule. CANCELLATIONS: For cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, I expect 50% of the original booking amount.
“our daughter loves Kresta! we're definitely asking her to return next time we need a sitter. she was on time and knew exactly how to make our baby feel comfortable from the moment she arrived ”
