Hi there, I’m Kaelyn! After taking a break from UrbanSitter to work with families independently, I’m excited to reconnect with this amazing community. I’ve lived in San Francisco since 2017 and earned my B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of San Francisco in December 2020. Now, I work full-time as a Program Manager in the biotech industry (specifically the research side of molecular diagnostics) I’ve been babysitting since I was 2011, starting with family friends’ children & gaining experience throughout HS, College, and Post Grad with a wide variety of ages & number of children, experience with 3mo–12 yrs and 1-3 children. As well over the years, I’ve gained extensive childcare experience, including five summers as a camp counselor at Rawhide Ranch, a Western horse camp in San Diego. As a counselor for 5-12 children a week, between children 7-15. There, I assisted with meals, cabin life, teaching classes, and creating a fun, positive environment for campers. In 2019, I worked as an Au Pair in Madrid, caring for two wonderful girls (ages 8 and 11). I loved teaching them English and forming a lasting bond with their family. Childcare has always been a passion of mine. Whether babysitting or tutoring in science and math, I enjoy engaging with kids through games, songs, and creative activities. Growing up in San Diego as a Disney enthusiast, I still love a good Disney movie night to unwind after a fun-filled day. Looking forward to connecting with your family soon!
Hi families! I’m Laiane, a dedicated nanny with over 5 years of experience, mainly with toddlers and younger kids, plus some infant care. I’ve supported families with everything from potty training and creative play to school drop-offs and busy schedules, including caring for twins. I like creating activities tailored to each child’s personality, whether arts and crafts or outdoor adventures. Safety is always a priority. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, fluent in English and Portuguese, fully vaccinated, and have excellent references from families I’ve worked with. I’m looking for a full-time position with about 35 hours/week starting in September (flexible).
Hello! My name is Rand, and I am currently a double major in Biology and Philosophy at USF, with a minor in Health Studies. I work as a surgical tech and hold CPR and BLS certifications, ensuring a safe, supportive environment for your little ones. I love creative activities like painting, yoga, photography, and puzzles! During COVID, I mentored children online, helping them develop both social and academic skills.
Hello! ☺️ I am a current graduate student at San Francisco State working toward a Master in Social Work. I was a full time nanny in the city prior to Covid and am looking to jump back in for occasional jobs while I'm in school. I have cared for newborns, infants, toddlers, twins, and kids as old as ten and as young as six weeks. I've also done weekend stays and overnights with families. I am BLS (Basic Lifesaving Skills) certified and comfortable around pets. Thanks for reading!
☀️🌉☀️🌉☀️🌉☀️🌉☀️🌉☀️ Hello, I live in San Francisco and I have been working as a Full Time professional nanny in the Bay Area for over 15 years, working with children starting at 1 month old -- to preschool -- to older children. Caring for multiple children is my specialty and I have a lot of newborn experience, families tell me I am great with infants/babies/toddlers and have a lot of patience and energy for these age groups as well as all the others. I absolutely love my job! 💛 Note: if I apply for your babysitting job, I accept the hourly rate that you set! Working with children keeps me young at heart and I have so much fun doing it. I am a confident person, very organized and love structure but also very relaxed/flexible and people say I have a very calming presence. Basically I will go with whatever flow you have going on in your home and follow your lead and preferences. I have always gravitated towards caring for children. After college (UC Santa Cruz, BA Psychology) I worked as a Literacy Tutor for first graders in East Oakland, and even after some time working in office jobs life lead me back to children. I started working for a Family Day Care center and there I learned valuable knowledge about caring for multiple infants and toddlers at a time. Up to 10-12 kids! It was a natural progression towards nanny work. I love to read to children, play games, creative play, running outside, playing sports, being silly/laughing, etc. My mom was an elementary school teacher and people tell me I am like a teacher. I must take after her :) I am great with infants and toddlers, I recognize non-verbal cues very clearly and think ahead. I take instruction well and I also can do well without any instruction because I have so many years experience and I am a no-nonsense type of personality. I have a genuine interest in every child's well being. Your children will be well taken care of, safe and happy in my care. ❤️ I am CPR/First Aid certified. I can travel throughout the Bay Area, I have a very reliable car, a 2016 VW Tiguan.
