Some of my skills though references : Personal and Interpersonal Skills • Warm and enthusiastic : Quickly builds strong bonds with children and families. • Trustworthy and dependable : Families feel fully confident leaving their children in her care. • Adaptable : Handles unexpected situations with calm and grace. • Proactive : Takes initiative in planning activities and preparing meals, even with limited resources. “Noémie was great with our energetic and outgoing 15 month old daughter. She was creative with activity ideas and kept her entertained. Definitely recommend!”
I’m originally from Colombia and recently moved to San Francisco from Colorado to continue my education while doing what I truly love—supporting families and caring for children. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Physical Education, and over four years of experience working with newborns, infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. Before moving to the U.S., I worked as an elementary school teacher, and during the past few years I’ve worked as both an au pair and a nanny, caring for children from 2 months to 16 years old. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, and I believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and encouraged to explore the world around them. I enjoy planning creative activities, crafts, outdoor adventures, reading, and helping children learn through play. Families describe me as warm, caring, patient, organized, responsible, and dependable. I naturally take initiative, keep routines running smoothly, and love creating a calm, positive environment where both children and parents feel supported. Beyond childcare, I’m happy to help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, organizing, errands, and pet care—whatever helps make your family’s day a little easier.
“We hired Itsa for household help. She was very efficient, punctual and was very good at the chores. She helped with laundry, light cleaning, dishes. On the personal front, she is polite and easy to talk to! We plan on continuing to hire her.”
Hello, My name is Anne and I’m a long-time San Francisco resident living in Bernal Heights. I love working with young people of different ages and have a flexible schedule, so I can accommodate a wide range of needs. I’ve raised our own two kids and have worked with other people’s children on and off for over 25 years, as an educator and childcare provider. I’m nurturing, organized, and responsible. Being punctual and staying safe are my top priorities. I also love to have fun and go on outdoor adventures! I’m a positive and energetic person with a passion for languages, healthy food, and good stories. Informal training in theatre and expressive arts informs the creative work I do with children. While traveling and living overseas, I have lovingly gathered a mobile library of fun, interactive books in French and Spanish. When our children were young, I helped run a bilingual (Spanish/English) daycare program. I launched an arts program in our Spanish immersion elementary school, where I assisted in teaching art and literacy for over a decade. In tutoring older children for many years, I focused on English and French language skills, writing, and SAT prep. Other professional endeavors include working in the field of public health. I studied in the USA and in France. I am happy to help your family in any way you need. I have a safe car, excellent driving skills, and a clean driving record. I prefer not to do screen time with kids. I am AHA certified in infant/child/adult CPR and first aid. I am fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19 and am up to date on this and other immunizations. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to set up an interview. I have many excellent references, which I'm happy to furnish upon request. I look forward to working with you and your families!!!
“Anne is the absolute best. From the start, it immediately felt like we had a relative coming over to watch our 6 month old son for date night. Anne was punctual, asked all the right questions about bedtime routine, and her communication throughout the night allowed us to enjoy date night worry free! She is clearly a natural with kids. We look forward to having Anne watch our son again soon.”
Hello! My name is Eliza and I love to babysit! I graduated from the University of San Francisco in May 2019 with a BA in Media Studies. Throughout my college experience I used UrbanSitter many times and have worked with many families - I love this company and all the families I have been able to work for and connect with through UrbanSitter. I am very flexible with my schedule and have worked with kids as young as 7months to as old as 10-11 years old. Message me if you have any questions!
“Eliza is amazing!! Very engaging and very intuitive with children. She’s definitely a true gem when it comes to children. Everything just feels natural with Eliza. Our son really fell in love with her, as did we. She was out first sitter from Urbansitter, and we were more than pleasantly surprised.”
I started nannying after leaving my job as a TV producer when my son was born in 2004. Since then I've cared for numerous newborns, babies, and toddlers, including several sets of twins. The last few years I've had the joy of nannying my niece's twin boys who just turned 4. As preemies, they required specialized round-the-clock care that I was privileged to be part of. Now they're healthy, happy, and enjoying preschool, so my time has freed up and I'd love to share it with other babies and little ones. Most recently I’ve cared for a new set of twin boys, in addition to two separate 4 month old girls. Because I’m not looking for full time work, my schedule is often flexible. One of my hobbies is photography, so you can expect plenty of photos of your little one throughout our time together.
“Bonita is so wonderful! She watched our daughter Olive starting from when she was just three months old—we were nervous to have someone besides us take care of her so young, but Bonita is so good with babies and made us feel comfortable immediately. She’s incredibly reliable, flexible, and just a really kind and warm person. Can’t recommend her enough!”
