Hi, my name is Chessie! I hold a B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Sonoma State University and currently work full-time as a Pre-K teacher at a wonderful preschool in Marin. I’m looking for part-time and occasional babysitting opportunities to earn a little extra as I prepare for my wedding this March. Born and raised in Petaluma, I developed my passion for early childhood education at a young age. I began babysitting for friends and neighbors as a young teen and started working as a summer camp counselor at 14. While in college, I worked in an after-school program supporting children in grades K–5. For the past six years, I’ve been a dedicated Pre-K teacher, gaining extensive hands-on experience supporting children’s growth, learning, and social-emotional development. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have over 10 years of experience caring for children and families in my community. I pride myself on being nurturing, dependable, and engaging, and I love creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment for every child in my care.
My name is Naomi and I’ve been a caregiver for about 10years! I’ve worked with all ages from 3 weeks old to 7 years old and part-time 11 year old! I’ve also worked with twins and special needs children (on the spectrum) Each and every child I’ve work with is very special and dear to my heart which has spark my interest in pursuing a career in this line of work! Currently in school for Early Childhood Education! Being able to help out families with different children has helped me understand that each and every child is unique and has different sort of needs! And as a nanny that provides care my job is to make sure each child I come in contact with has a memorable upbringing and their needs catered to! My friends and family may describe me as funny and bubbly and most children I work with describe me as scary cat😂 I describe myself as the baby Whisperer 😂 I’m very appreciative of each and every opportunity I get to work with families and I take pride in what I do!
Hi I’m Jayla and I’m looking to help families out with watching their kids and or pets. I have two younger brothers that I still take care of— same with 3 of my grandmas dogs since two of them were mine as well. I’d like to use my ability to help others since I do have the experience. I currently have a lot of free time since I’m a part time college student so I want to use that time to put it towards providing care and fun. I’m reliable, responsible, patient, and I’d love to be apart of children’s and pet’s happiness since that also makes me happy.
I am 46 years old,I have been taking care of children from 1 week through 15 years old for 27 years,I have 2 children myself, I also have my ECE units,I have work in couple schools, preschool elementary,I have also experience taking care of elderly people. I always think every family is different amd every child has different needs,I considered myself very flexible to acomodate to parents needs because I am a mother too and I know how it is to leave our children with so.eone else.I try my best to accomplish the fam needs.
A bit about me: I am a preschool teacher at Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Novato, and have been working there for 4 years now. I work daily with children ages 2-4. I am graduating this spring with an AS degree in Child and Family Studies from Napa Valley College, and I am CPR and First Aid certified. Prior to teaching, I also have several years of experience babysitting children ages 0-10, including babysitting for individual families, and providing childcare for large groups of children at events. I love working with children and am fascinated by the process of their development! Their little minds are absolutely intriguing. I love to play and experiment alongside them, and my approach to discipline and teaching is very much based in authoritative parenting style (aka gentle parenting) and play-based learning. If you have any questions, please ask! I know how important it is to leave your little ones with someone you can trust!
