Warm, playful, and dependable caregiver with 18+ years of experience caring for children of all ages, including infants. After recently working on a developmental milestone project, I felt called back to what I truly love most — helping children grow, learn, feel deeply cared for, and making everyday life feel lighter and more supported for parents too. I love bringing warmth, laughter, creativity, music, outdoor adventures, and calm positive energy into a home. I’m naturally very hands-on and happy to help wherever needed — whether that’s nurturing little ones through developmental milestones, engaging in playful learning, preparing simple healthy meals, tidying up child-related spaces, helping with routines, or creating a smoother flow for the whole family. Families often describe me as loving, reliable, helpful, positive and fun with their children. I am CPR/AED/First Aid certified, have my own reliable car, and speak English, Spanish, and French (plus some Portuguese and Hindi). Currently looking for one more kind, respectful, communicative part-time family who values warmth, teamwork, and thoughtful childcare. P.S: While I was advised to charge $50hr. I am ok with negotiating lower for the right family who really needs it
Hi, I’m Tuce — a caregiver based in the Bay Area. I’m a Turkish immigrant building my career in healthcare, and caregiving is the direction I’m intentionally moving toward. I completed my CNA clinical training at Sunnyvale Post Acute and have since been working with home care agencies in the Bay Area. I’m also starting Home Health Aide training in October — so this work is something I’m committed to long-term, not just picking up on the side. I grew up in a culture where caring for children and elderly family members is something families do themselves. That’s shaped how I show up: calm, attentive, and genuinely comfortable with the rhythms of a home. Spending time with children is something I genuinely enjoy — not just a responsibility I take on. I like to play, I follow the child’s lead, and I find real pleasure in those small moments that make a kid light up. At the same time, I take safety seriously and keep a close eye on what’s happening around us. That combination — staying engaged and staying aware — is something I’m naturally comfortable with. I have CPR and First Aid training. I’m bilingual in English and Turkish. I’m reliable, I communicate openly with parents, and I’ll leave your home the way I found it. Available for one-time bookings, date nights, and weekend coverage. Happy to chat before you book — references available on request.
Hello! My name is Leydy. I am 25 years old and currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in nursing, with plans to continue my education in the future. I have several years of experience as a nanny, caring for children ranging from newborns to teenagers. I am reliable, patient, and happy to assist with daily tasks such as transportation to activities, meal preparation, laundry, bath time, dishes, and more. I would love the opportunity to support your family in any way I can!
Hii, I’m Ana, I’m a loving, reliable, and patient nanny with years of experience caring for little ones. I love being part of their growth and creating a safe, fun space where they can learn and feel happy. I’m very active and enjoy spending time outdoors. I can also help with meals and light housekeeping. Since I’m a nutritionist, your kids will always have healthy and balanced meals.
Years ago, my first profile picture on this site was criticized by a potential family for being too strange. I picked one way stranger in response (me in a unicorn onesie) until the 2024 powers that be on this site recently called it inappropriate. So, now I’ve found one off the charts strange with my head half shaved in the middle of a home COVID haircut ;-). Children are SO important to me—yes that means physical safety, but for me it also involves emotional safety. I want deeply for children and young people to love themselves and find their voices as they grow, but to do that they need to see adults who appreciate and take joy in their own uniqueness. That, more than any resume point, is what I offer to kids and families with fierce commitment. I have worked with children and young people in a variety of settings for thirty years. In my early days there was the usual teenage babysitting. I have also worked for summer camps and non-profits--designing, leading, and overseeing children's activities and programs. Next, I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade English for the last thirteen years in both Southern California and the Bay Area, followed by ten years of nannying for children of all ages. Finally, I have started to move very organically into parental coaching, upon request of families I care/have cared for. I have special insight into neurodivergent kids and school engagement struggles. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, AED, have taken expressive arts therapy training, and have had multiple experiences working with autistic young people, in addition to being autistic myself. I am happy to help older children with their English homework and do Elmo's voice for the younger children in the fort we just built :) I am tidy, punctual, and you will not find me on my phone or devices while my attention should be on your child. I love and appreciate the curiosity, creativity, kindness, and honesty of all children, and I look forward to being part of the village that helps care for yours. Thanks, Water pronouns: he/him IG: newstoriescallingart Ps. Yes, I know my profile says Chelsea, but I've been through a legal name change which this system "can't" correct until my membership expires. My name is Water, happy to show you my driver's license to silence the dead naming if it would help put your mind at ease. Not mad at caregivers who don't read this far, just mad at computer's needs being given precedence over people's needs.
