Hi there, I’m Avalon! I am an actor and recently moved to Los Angeles from Manhattan where I attended NYU’s Grad Acting program at Tisch School of the Arts. I spent nearly a decade in Manhattan, where I first moved in 2015 to pursue my undergraduate degree at Fordham University. Soon after my arrival, I started professionally nannying around Manhattan and Brooklyn. Throughout my 10+ years of experience, I have provided for families with a variety of needs. From taking care of a newborns, to after school care, to assisting in household management, I have done it all. I have found that my artistic pursuits as well as my experience in teaching theater school-age children complement my child care work extremely well. I’m known for bringing a lot of joy and play into my time with kids. Hi! I’m Bailey 😊 I’m a UCSB alum (BS in Psychological and Brain Sciences), EMT certified, and currently in registered nursing school. I have 8+ years of experience caring for children of all ages. I worked at the UCSB Child Care Center throughout my undergraduate years, including in the infant and toddler rooms where I regularly cared for multiple children at once. I also previously worked in Labor & Delivery as an OB/Surgical Tech, where I assisted in deliveries and C-sections and gained strong exposure to newborn care and hospital safety. I’ve worked as a paraeducator supporting children with special needs and currently work as a substitute teacher (TK–12 + SPED), so I’m very comfortable with a wide range of ages and needs.
