Hi My name is Ngan Nguyen( nickname is Holiday), and I love working with young children. I grew up with my big family and appreciate the teaching from family, school and community. I had working in Child Development for 6 years as assistant teacher and floater teacher in different school. I earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Early Childhood Education from De Anza College and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Child and Adolescent Development (Teaching Preparation) from San José State University. I am currently continuing my education by pursuing my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Vietnamese Bilingual Authorization, and a Master’s degree. As a student, I value making the most of my time. I enjoy working whenever I am available because it allows me to continue developing my teaching skills while doing something I genuinely love—supporting families and helping children learn and grow. I am available to work weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to midnight and have full availability on weekends.

I graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Biology, B.S. but I was a transfer student from Foothill College in Los Altos, CA. Growing up, i played basketball, volleyball and swimming. I swam collegiately for 2 years. I have been babysitting for over 13 years and have had a wide range of experience. I have babysat children from the ages of 3 months until 12 years old and have taken on a variety of different tasks with families. I have helped with homework, bed time routines, mommy’s helper (including dishes, organizing, floor cleaning, etc), and so much more. I currently work full time at Stanford University for the Department of Emergency Medicine as a Project Manager for both Strategy and DEI. Hello! My name is Kelly, and I have experience with kids and pets! :) Please message me for additional availability as I work full time (11 AM - 8 PM) with semi flexible hours and am a fur mom. I can try to accommodate if noticed in advance. ***Note: I am only looking for occasional jobs*** PET CARE: I currently have 2 puppies and a cat at home (11 month old maltipoo, 11 month old domestic shorthair, and 6 month old mini aussie). All three are extremely sociable and friendly towards other animals. We currently live in an apartment, but do our best to make up for the lack of a backyard by taking them to the dog park, on drives, play dates, and giving them enrichment toys! CHILDCARE: I have mostly worked with ages 4-12 prior to COVID-19. However, I have worked with younger ages and am comfortable with them. In all 4 years of my high school career, I taught children from 2nd grade to 11th grade, so I am also able to help with any homework necessary! With that being said, I have experience in breaking the ice with children slowly to gain their trust, as well as yours as a parent.
