Hello - My name is Alexis. I have seven years of experience as a babysitter and nanny and have cared for children of all ages — from infants to preteens. I love to do arts and crafts, drawing, painting, and coloring with the kids. I also love board games, lego, hide and seek, and reading stories. I was a volunteer at a Waldorf summer camp for four years, where I worked with children in early childhood. Then I was a nanny for a wonderful family with two children who were seven and ten at the time. I worked at a Waldorf school as the Aftercare teacher and program director for almost two years. I was also a sub for the teachers and their assistants. I supervised children of all temperaments and ages as aftercare was offered to kindergarten through fifth grade. On a typical day I usually watched about 15+ children, while cleaning the yard, helping the older children with homework, coordinate with the parents and teachers, and getting the children signed out for the day. I have two associates degrees from Pierce College. I have a degree in Elementary Teacher Education and a degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. I currently attend CSUN, where I am getting my teaching credential and bachelors in Liberal Studies. I genuinely love working with kids and plan on becoming an elementary teacher. Specifically, I would like to teach kindergarten or first grade. I am patient, calm, and caring. I am CPR, First Aid, and AED certified. I have no criminal record whatsoever and can provide a full background along with references.
“Alexis was immediately polite and willing to play with our girls. She listened to our routines and worked with them. The girls warmed up to her and even felt comfortable doing imaginary play and books together. She was a great sport about going with it too. She also was respectful and put things away.”

Have experience babysitting for 10 years on this website. I have a 6 year old and a 10 year old kids myself. Primarily looking to work for someone who would want to go on a date, to work or so on ( 4-12 hours). Anywhere from occasional to a few times a week jobs. Tutoring/Homeschooling for grades 3rd and under available for 15$ an hour at my place. Have experience from homeschooling my son since he was 2.5 years old and school affiliated homeschooling since March of 2020. Plus was totally homeschooled for 1st grade. Overnight/Daycare, closed days care is also provided. if you can bring your kid over to my place rate is 15$/hour per kid. 18$ for two etc. Have a separate room with 2 twin mattresses and also have pack and play if needed for younger ones. For older kids 3 and up I usually bring activities like a coloring book with markers , activity books, stickers or a small art project to do ( beads, mosaics) Ok with driving to your place or you can drop the kid off at mine either way is fine depends on the time of day. At our place we have back yard, pool ( gated and only operational during summer time) , toys, building blocks, magnet-tiles, marbles maze, duplos, puzzles, painting, beads, art table, and a park walking distance away it’s a walkway from our house so no roads need to be crossed ( if you are ok with me taking kids to the park). Hello! I grew up in the Chicagoland area, but in 2015 I made the big move west to Los Angeles! I work as a production assistant after getting my film degree at Columbia College Chicago, and I love babysitting to fill up my time when I'm not busy with a production! *currently only interested in newborn/infant/baby clients at this time! Trying to keep it extra safe. ****I require all in the families I sit for who are eligible to be vaccinated and extremely covid conscious! ****I have a four hour minimum on weekdays unless you are a regular family of mine and we have discussed it previously. *****I also have a policy of being paid for the entire time I'm booked. Thank you! I have a range of experience with children. I started off mother's helping, then grew to have many families I regularly babysat as they grew up! I've also handled many children working at Vacation Bible School, and I worked for about a year and a half at a preschool. I have also been a full time au pair in Spain for two children. On set I’m often in care of minors, aiding the school teacher in the safety and care of the kids. Children teach me so much about patience, understanding, creativity, and being open-minded - things that I feel I often lose when living in such a fast-paced city area with people only my age. I always look forward to seeing children grow in even the little ways of life. I consider myself very energetic and enthusiastic, so children are often a perfect fit to my overall temperament. I'm also very calm and patient, so I stay level-headed in crazy situations. I am very eager to hear from all of you and meet you and your children!
Hi, I'm a dedicated childcare professional, preschool teacher, and proud mom who genuinely loves helping children learn, grow, and feel safe and supported. Families describe me as kind, dependable, communicative, and easy to work with. I believe strong relationships with both children and parents are built on trust, transparency, and open communication, and those are values I bring to every family I work with. I have a background in psychology and hold two Associate degrees in Child Development with concentrations in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. My experience includes working as a preschool teacher, babysitter, nanny, and mother, giving me a well-rounded understanding of children's developmental, emotional, and educational needs. I'm an outdoorsy, creative, and affectionate caregiver who loves singing, dancing, reading stories, making art, and turning everyday moments into fun learning opportunities. I enjoy following children's interests while creating routines that help them feel secure, confident, and engaged. Childcare has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mother worked as a nanny in different parts of the world, and I was fortunate to grow up alongside the families she cared for. Watching her taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, and building meaningful connections with children and parents alike. I am CPR and First Aid certified, have a clear background check and fingerprint clearance, and am committed to providing the highest level of care. Whether you need occasional support or a long-term caregiver, I would love the opportunity to be a trusted, nurturing presence in your child's life. I look forward to connecting with your family!
“Kimberly was an incredible babysitter for our son Van! From the moment we connected, she was kind, caring, and professional. She kept us updated throughout the evening with thoughtful texts and adorable pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. It’s clear she genuinely cares and is passionate about what she does. Van was comfortable and happy with her, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Kimberly is everything we were hoping for in a sitter—and more. We will absolutely be using her again (and again)!”
