Hi! I'm Darya - an international student from Belarus. I have lived in the US for 4 years, and before UrbanSitter I cared for pets (Rover.com) and worked as a barista at Universal Studios. Back at home, I spent more than 10 years caring for my younger cousins. So I can be relied upon with kids of all ages from 3 to 15 :) I would describe myself as a cheerful and calm person, open to feedback and willing to make friends with kids. As for my availability, right now I am pretty much always free for several months! Please reach out if you need any of the following: babysitter, petsitter, household assistant. š¼š» I can cook, clean, run errands, create fun activities for kids, sing, draw, study and play with them. 𦮠I am also experienced in walking dogs and watching cats. Let me know if you have any further questions and I hope to meet you soon ā¤ļø

Hi there! My name is Sabrina, and Iām a graphic designer living near Hermosa Beach. Originally from Oahu, I moved to Los Angeles to attend Pepperdine University and graduated in 2019. I have over 15 years of experience working with children in various roles, including as a day camp counselor, tutor, and nanny. I truly miss working with children, which is why Iām excited to rejoin Urbansitter. Iād love to create a positive, nurturing environment for your child. Please feel free to reach outāthank you!
Hi! Iām a developmental therapist with a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth, confidence, and emotional well-being. I currently work with children ages 3ā10 while pursuing my Masterās in Counseling Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy. I also have a Bachelorās degree in Child and Adolescent Development, with a concentration in Youth Work and Out-of-School Time. Iāve spent over six years working with children in a variety of settings, including schools, preschools, camps, and familiesā homes. Iāve worked in special education with LAUSD, taught preschool in both San Francisco and Portland, and spent four years as a camp counselor with Camp Galileo. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work with children of different ages, personalities, and needs, and have taught me how important it is to meet each child where they are. I also have several years of nannying experience and have worked with around seven different families. Iāve helped with everything from weekly childcare and school pickups to overnight trips, meal preparation, bedtime routines, arts and crafts, homework, and keeping children engaged throughout the day. I really enjoy creating a balance between structure and funāwhether that means getting creative with an activity, heading outside to play, helping with homework, or simply being a caring and dependable presence for a child. Outside of my professional work, Iāve always been passionate about giving back to children and families. Iāve volunteered with organizations such as Safe & Sound, where I provided peer counseling and support, and Reading Partners, where I tutored elementary school children who were working to improve their reading skills. I would describe myself as warm, patient, responsible, and easygoing. I truly enjoy getting to know each child as an individual and creating a relationship where they feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. Iād love the opportunity to get to know your family and see how I can be a helpful part of your childās life!
āJanie was an excellent sitter for our two young children (4 and 6). She is warm and calm, listens carefully and responds thoughtfully to our children. She provides constructive guidance to them, helps them stay organized, encourages them to use words to talk out their disputes, and makes them feel safe. She was always on time, and proactive in planning. She helped with school pick-up and prepped dinner and fed our children on some evenings. I would definitely hire Janie again, and recommend her highly for your family.ā
Greetings parents and guardians my name is Danielle and i'm a mother of two adult boys now. I'm 47 years old with 25 plus years of early childhood education experience . I've work with and care for children in a professional and leisurely capacity , starting from infancy as early as three months up to school age which I consider any where between 5 yrs - 10 yrs. I"m spunky, crafty and don't mind getting messy and doing a little exploring with your child. I'm CPR and first aid certified, I'm also certified as a mandated reporter and have been finger printed and cleared to work in the state of California . This would be a part-time position for me , as I'm currently employed full time as a Preschool teacher in a well know child care corporation in the Los Angeles area.
