Hi everyone! My name is Lexi and I’m a freshman at Chapman University looking for a part-time babysitting job in Orange. I have over eight years of experience caring for children and I am a Red Cross Safe Sitter as well as CPR and Heimlich certified. I am majoring in Psychology and have always loved working with kids. Since I do not have my car on campus, I am hoping to find a position within walking distance from Chapman, however, I am also willing to uber. I am responsible, compassionate, and committed to creating a safe and fun environment for children, and I would love to connect if you are looking for a reliable sitter. I also have extensive experience babysitting children with autism and disabilities.
Hi, my name is Christina, and I live in Anaheim Hills. I am available to provide childcare from 8:30am-2pm Monday and Friday. Wednesdays I am available from 8:30am until noon. Additionally, I am available all day Saturday and Sunday. I have a degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and got my K-6 Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Cal State Long Beach in 2009. I have been raising my two children since 2013, and they are 13 and 11 now, so I’m looking for some part time/occasional work. I absolutely love taking care of children and was a substitute teacher for 5 years before having my daughter. I have experience with all ages and also experience with special needs children. I started babysitting when I was 13, and I have worked in many homes and schools with lots of wonderful children and students. I’ve done CPR certification and background checks many times, and my home is smoke free and pet free. I’m open to providing childcare at your home, or at my home as well. Just text me anytime to ask about my availability. Thank you for reading my bio and I look forward to hearing from you! -Christina
I've studied child development in highschool and currently interested in studying more in my college years. Worked at community service for 35 hours at Rio Vista elementary school. I like to do activities such as reading, activity solving, trivia, and all around someone fun to be with. I've just been interested in cooperating with children and improving the better quality of children's entertainment. I'm realibly available for the thease days so any day can work.

Nice to meet you! I’m Kate, a 37 year old career nanny who moved from Chicago to LA in 2021 for a jet-setting/bi-coastal, travel heavy nanny position, and once the position ended, I decided to stay out here permanently. I live in Orange County with my girlfriend, and work M-Th, 7a-7p, in Studio City. My previous position was Jan ‘23- Nov ‘24. My background has always been in early childhood, and majored in early childhood education in college. I have years of experience with all age ranges and backgrounds: from kids who thrive in group settings to kids that do best with individualized, 1:1 care to kids who are neurodivergent. My first and top priority is the safety and wellbeing. Second is play, exploration, imagination, creativity, and seeing kids explore based on what they are into and things they find interesting. Third is, in my day-to-day, I take a child-centered approach. Including, but not limited to: time outside, walks, going to playgrounds, and finding activities within the home that the kids enjoy. My experience includes: working as a in-home support worker with neurodivergent kids, have worked at 3 early childhood centers (both as an assistant teacher and lead teacher); and all my experience has been from newborn to school age. In my free time: I love checking out new restaurants, adventuring the outdoors with my girlfriend, finding new trails to hike on AllTrails, the beach, and weekend trips
“Kate was amazing with our 2months old daughter. Definitely recommend and will for sure have her helping us again. ❤️🫶🏼 ”
Hey there, my name is Jenny. Nice to meet you! I have been working with Urbansitter since 2013, and I have made meaningful connections with families over the years. Though I’m currently pursuing a doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, I still find joy in babysitting when my schedule allows. I’m known for being patient, goofy, and communicative. My professional background is rooted in hospitality and technology, but I’ve always had a passion for working with kids in diverse settings. I coach volleyball and volunteer as a camp counselor at The Painted Turtle Camp. I’ve also had the privilege of tutoring elementary school kids via Reading Partners and mentoring with Access Youth Academy. Each of these experiences has enriched my ability to connect with kids and support their growth in fun and creative ways.
“Jennifer was very nice and our 3 boys really liked spending the evening with her! She was professional and timely and even honored our request to speak Spanish with our children while she was babysitting them. Would definitely use again as a babysitter.”
