I love taking care of the kids and providing a nurturing and safe environment. I offer child care and pet services! I have grown up with my twin sister and oldest sister and have three dogs. In high school, I was captain of my soccer team and was awarded Most Inspiring and Senior of the Year. I love taking care of kids. I have been babysitting since I was 16 and have been using Urban Sitter for 5 years! I work with all ages. Some activities I love to do with kids include playing sports, doing arts and crafts, going on walks, and playing imaginary games. I will always encourage kids to use their imagination and creativity. I try to implement stimulating activities for kids such as memory games, asking them mental math problems, asking them to point to certain colors/numbers etc. I am a very active and adaptable person. Your kids safety and comfortability is my #1 priority. I am CPR and AED certified! As for pets, I have three dogs myself and would love to pet sit! I I am very experienced with taking care of pets. I can sit dogs and cats as well as other animals. At this time, I am only looking for occasional jobs due to my busy schedule with school. Please reach out if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
I have been working with children for 15 years and I still love it. I worked at a daycare center as an infant toddler teacher for five years. I taught swim lessons to all ages. I am currently a nanny for over 5 years. I love to be outside taking walks, or at a park. I like to do art activities, make up scavenger hunts, read books, play board/card games, legos, and just follow what the child is into. Usually just make up games. A babysitter should be a fun time for the child. I am happy to do easy meals for the kids and some cleaning.
Hi! My name is Trisha, and I've been working with children for over 20 years. During that time, I've cared for more than 20 families and have many wonderful references available upon request. I also served as the Children's Ministry Director at my former church for several years. I'm currently working as a Household Manager/Nanny. i am currently only looking for occasional date night jobs on Friday or Saturday evening. I moved to San Jose a little over a year ago and would love to find a position closer to home, though I'm happy to travel for the right family. A little about me—I’m 47 years old and helped raise my stepdaughter from the age of 4. She is now 29. I'm creative and love painting, shopping, and spending time outdoors. I'm a non-smoker, a Christian, and I genuinely love working with children. I enjoy helping families however I can and pride myself on being dependable, easygoing, and fun! I’m always on time and love bringing games, crafts, and creative activities for the kids. I also enjoy taking children to the park, library, and other fun outings when appropriate. I would love to learn more about your family, your child, and your daily routine to see if we'd be a great fit. My rate is $35–$40 per hour for one or two children. I have my own reliable vehicle and am happy to provide transportation to and from school or extracurricular activities. If you think we might be a good match, I'd love to hear from you! Finding the right nanny can be challenging, and I truly hope you find the perfect fit for your family. I look forward to hearing from you. Have a wonderful rest of your week! Trisha
I am 21 years old and I’ve been taking care of children ever since I was 15, helping them with homework, cleaning up after them, meal prep, school pick up/drop off, to/from activities, bedtime routine and so on. I also used to be an english teacher for kids between 4-11. I have experiences with babies older than 1, that includes feeding them, nap time, story time, changing diapers etc. I am currently taking care of 3 kids under 5 M-F and I’m looking for job opportunities on weekends.
“Nicole was great. Friendly, kind and punctual, our 7 year old said he liked her a lot! ”
Hi! My name is Olivia and I am currently a full-time graduate student at California State University, Monterey Bay, studying Speech-Language Pathology with the goal of being a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for children with special needs. I am CPR-BLS certified and can provide you with my certificate! I have worked with children ranging from infants to teenagers for almost a decade! In the past five years, I have worked as a lead teacher for after-school group care at elementary schools throughout San Luis Obispo, and most recently as an assistant teacher at a special-needs preschool with children ages 2-5. Currently as I’m in school, I’ve been doing several babysitting jobs on the weekends through an agency that has a partnership with hotels in the area. Additionally, I have experience and a deep passion towards caring for children with special needs, including but not limited to the autism spectrum, Down syndrome, and other behavioral needs, as well as familiarity with children using augmentative and alternative communication devices (AAC). I strongly believe that every child deserves nothing less than top notch care and advocacy for their unique needs. I’m also a huge supporter of creativity and the arts! I received my bachelor’s degree in 2024 from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in Studio Arts (painting and drawing), and have taught various art camps and classes for kids ages 3-14 including painting, ceramics, papier-mâché, and more. I’m a pet lover and have two dogs of my own! I’m happy to help with feeding, walking, playing, or just keeping them company. I understand that your children are your greatest gift, and thank you so much for trusting me with that care. I look forward to meeting you!
“Olivia was wonderful! We were staying at Carmel valley ranch and she came over to watch two of our kids. ”
