Find a last-minute babysitter in Yucaipa, CA

I am currently a school counselor and looking for part-time work. I have 12 years Headstart Program experience (preschool age), 10 years of being an elementary school teacher and have been a school counselor for the past 15 years, which is my current position. I have experience doing selective nanny jobs for families that have vacationed in the Palm Springs area as it fit into my holiday school schedule. During the school year, I am only available on weekends or school holidays. My undergrad degree is in Early Childhood Education and my Masters is in Teaching. My added credentials include School Counseling and School Admin. I am a mother of 5 with 3 amazing grandchildren. I am patient, nurturing and kind and have worked with youth my whole life.

Active, Patient, Warm, Caring, Safety minded... I recently moved here from Fairfax City Virginia here with the love of my life. I have extensive experience caring for children. I operated an in home child care in Virginia for children 5 weeks old to age 12 for 23 years. We were required to have 16 hours of training a year so I have taken extensive child care training classes over the years. I have passed background checks and have valid First Aid, CPR training currently and all for those years. I love caring for children and I am exceptional with infants, preschool aged children, as well as school aged. I have many excellent references from my families I have worked with over the years as well as neighbors who have known me that long as well. I also have a teaching degree in special education and worked in a day treatment facility for middle school aged children in a self contained classroom setting. I have experience tutoring and helping school aged children with their school work through the years. I have also raised my three sons who are now 26, 24, and 22 years old. In college I worked as a nanny as well as a camp counselor. As a teen I provided swim lessons and was a red cross trained babysitter. I also served as a candy stripper in the hospital. As you can see working with and caring for people and children has been a lifetime endeavor of mine and one I very much enjoy. I am looking to suppliments my income with some part-time or occasional care options. Would love to find some nice families to work with and care for their children or people in need of care. I am open to house sitting, light pet care, light household care, elderly care, or other options as needed. I am open to other opportunities just need to ask and I will let you know if I am up for it.
