I have been caring for children for over 8 years now! I moved to DC from Texas where I babysat, led a middle school girls youth group and volunteered in the children’s ministry of a local nonprofit. I enjoy working with kids because their curiosity and energy keeps me on my toes and reminds me to look for the wonder in life! I value building relationships with every child I babysit and learning about their interests. I will read books, bake, facilitate outdoor games or step back and supervise if your kiddos prefer independent play! I am also happy to take on dishes, laundry, and other house work. I have worked with children ranging from newborns through middle school, and am comfortable with any age. I can also handle multiple at a time; a favorite group of friends I babysat for had 4 kids under 6 with an 8-month old — we had so much fun together! Hi! My name is Bryn, I’m 25 and a registered nurse in the ICU at Georgetown Hospital. I’m CPR certified and previously volunteered as an EMT. I have a car and clean driving record, passed a background check and drug test for work, and of course am fully vaccinated. I grew up (and still live) in Arlington and I have been babysitting in this area since high school. I joined Urban Sitter since all those kids are older now! I spent two summers as a nanny here, working with a 3 year old and then a set of 6 year old twins. I was also a lifeguard and have coached youth basketball and ultimate frisbee. I have a younger brother with ADHD and have spent many hours tutoring him.
