This role has not only developed my ability to teach essential life skills but also allowed me to form strong, trusting relationships with the children I work with. Additionally, I spent two summers as a counselor, working with children ranging from 7 to 16 years old. These summers solidified my leadership and problem-solving skills, and I learned how to create a positive and safe environment where children can express themselves, build friendships, and grow.
