I go to college at University of South Florida and I am in school to become an elementary teacher! When I was in middle school up to my sophomore year of high school I would volunteer at my old daycare and was a teacher assistant. I am very passionate about becoming a teacher and working with children is my favorite thing to do. I loved playing with and creating lesson plans for the younger children and it inspired me to become a teacher.
“Armani was a great sitter. She was communicative, caring and our little one said he had a great time with her. ”
Hi! My name is Emily and Ive been working in educational childcare since 2018 with a focus on children with intellectual and physical disabilities. Im going to USF for speech pathology and would love to babysit for your family. I am CPR trained. I do my best to avoid screen time and will opt for low stimulation shows when possible! I have my own car and no speeding tickets, so Im willing to help with pick up and drop off or any other driving based errands. I love to read, paint, and try new recipes and would love to share that in an age appropriate way, especially with themed arts and crafts options! I grew up going to Montessori schools so that philosophy is very important to me. Please let me know if you are interested and I am flexible on pricing!
I love watching dogs and watching them inspired me to get a puppy of my own! Dogs must get along with my puppy and he loves to play! Long walk and the dog park are guaranteed with me.
Hello :) I consider fostering a child's growth and development the most important task in the world. I am dedicated to making a positive, lasting impact on the lives of the families I support. With 13 years of experience, I offer patient, calm, and creative care for children ranging from infants to pre-teens. I hold a graduate degree in medical science, which has provided me with a strong foundation for supporting early childhood development. I am fully CPR trained and First Aid trained. I enjoy engaging children through sports and educational games that promote learning. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and always follow your preferred communication method to keep you updated on your child's day. Since I have my own car, I am reliable and ready to assist with your family's needs. I look forward to the possibility of becoming a trusted partner in your child's journey.
Provided childcare for families with children ranging in age from 2 to 8 years old. Worked as a classroom assistant at my synagogue for two years, assisting with children ages 7–8, collaborating with the teacher to help teach the Hebrew language and about Jewish culture. Served as a camp counselor for two years, supervising children ages 6–8 and ensuring their safety and well-being during both indoor and outdoor activities. Worked with children ages 2–4 in my high school preschool program, helping lead educational and developmental learning activities. Volunteered at Camp Jenny - an organization that gives children from an impoverished community an overnight summer camp experience that includes a variety of activities, sports and team-building exercises. At Camp Jenny, I was responsible for overnight care and supervision of children ages 7–8 and assisted with daily camp activities and routines. I would describe myself as a very loyal, flexible and responsible person who’s easygoing and enjoys creating a comfortable, positive environment. I like doing simple, fun things like game nights or movies nights in, and I’m always open to learning new things and trying new experiences. I am dependable, adaptable, and I try to bring calm and friendly energy wherever I am!
