Hi! My name is Ava. I am a college student and am offering child and pet care. A little to know about me is that I love staying active, spending time outdoors, and studying languages (currently learning Spanish and American Sign Language). Outside of school, I work as a swim instructor/lifeguard and work seasonally at a local farm. Child Care I have experience across all age ranges, from infants and toddlers to school-aged kids. Over the past 4 years, I’ve worked as a summer camp counselor managing large groups of children, and for the past year, I’ve taught swim lessons to infants and young kids. I also have years of experience caring for my younger siblings and cousins. I tend to focus on active, and engaging play for children. I love organizing outdoor games, arts and crafts, and cooking. I am also happy to help with water safety, tutoring, homework, transportation and meal prep. Certifications: Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, AED, and First Aid Certified. Pet Care I was raised in a multi-pet household with pet-sitting experience. I’ve cared for standard household pets as well as exotic animals, including rodents, livestock, reptiles, birds, and amphibians. I offer daily feeding, enclosure/habitat maintenance, custom care routines, and much more.
I come from a family with two younger siblings and two older siblings, so I’ve always been around and comfortable caring for children. I’ve also volunteered with children through dance and community programs. Living on my own for the past year has helped me become very responsible and independent, especially with cooking, cleaning, organizing, and managing multiple tasks at once. I’m outgoing, kind, patient, and dependable. I’m comfortable keeping children entertained while also making sure they are safe and supervised. I’m able to multitask, stay calm when things get busy, and complete responsibilities in a timely and safe manner. I’m also bilingual in English and Spanish and am comfortable caring for children of different ages and personalities.
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Bob. I took an early retirement to take care of my mother and father after they fell ill. I didn’t want others taking care of them, especially when I was fully able. It was an honor to care for my parents until their passings, and gave me a feeling of deep satisfaction. I am able to cook, and do a great job keeping the house clean and tidy. I have an adult daughter, and two grandchildren, whom are the loves of my life. I enjoy spending time with them, yet they stay very busy with school and outside activities. That leaves me time to share my experience with other children and seniors. My compassion, kindness, patience, and understanding, helps me relate to multi-generations. I am usually available on short notice, and look forward to meeting you, and helping with you or your loved one’s daily needs. My favorite volunteer job was participating in meals on wheels. Many times I was the only contact my seniors incurred with the outside world. I enjoyed brightening their day, and gave them the extra love and attention they deserved. I have very reliable transportation, having just purchased a new car in June 2026. I also have a Yorkie named Maisie, and a cat named Socks. I love animals, and they love me. I often take care of other people’s pets when they are out of town, or unwell. Please consider meeting me in person, so we can get to know one another, and discuss your specific needs. I am living my best life with a positive attitude and a warm heart. I don’t use drugs or alcohol, and would be willing submit to random drug testing, and a background check, I look forward to talking with you soon.
My name is Hannah; I am currently a student at USF Tampa campus, with an in-progress major in Psychology! I live very close to the campus at present. I have worked with children as a teen and volunteered as a summer camp counselor while in high school. I am applying for childcare, pet care, and household assistance positions. I am able to cook, clean thoroughly, and run errands when instructed. I am an expert in all things outdoorsy and arts and crafts, and I am happy to facilitate activities of these sort along with anything the child and parents may prefer!
Hello UrbanSitter Families! 💕 My name is Tamara, and I would love the opportunity to care for your little ones! I’m 46 years old and have over 20 years of experience working with children from infancy through age 17. My professional background includes working as a Prevention Specialist, where I taught Interpersonal Cognitive Problem-Solving (ICPS) skills to preschool-aged children. I am also trauma-informed and have more than 15 years of experience working with high risk youth. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and am passionate about helping children learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. I am also certified in Infant and Child First Aid and CPR, giving parents an added layer of peace of mind while their little ones are in my care. I would love to connect with your family, learn about your childcare needs, and hopefully become someone you can trust and rely on. I look forward to meeting you and your little ones! 😊💗 — Tamara
“Tamara was wonderful with our 5-month-old. She was engaged and attentive the whole time, followed our routines, communicated clearly, and was right on time. It was our first time hiring a babysitter and she made us feel at ease. We will definitely book her again. Highly recommend!”
