I come from a family with two younger siblings and two older siblings, so I’ve always been around and comfortable caring for children. I’ve also volunteered with children through dance and community programs. Living on my own for the past year has helped me become very responsible and independent, especially with cooking, cleaning, organizing, and managing multiple tasks at once. I’m outgoing, kind, patient, and dependable. I’m comfortable keeping children entertained while also making sure they are safe and supervised. I’m able to multitask, stay calm when things get busy, and complete responsibilities in a timely and safe manner. I’m also bilingual in English and Spanish and am comfortable caring for children of different ages and personalities.

I didn’t want others taking care of them, especially when I was fully able. It was an honor to care for my parents until their passings, and gave me a feeling of deep satisfaction. I am able to cook, and do a great job keeping the house clean and tidy. I have an adult daughter, and two grandchildren, whom are the loves of my life. I enjoy spending time with them, yet they stay very busy with school and outside activities. That leaves me time to share my experience with other children and seniors. I am usually available on short notice, and look forward to meeting you, and helping with you or your loved one’s daily needs. My favorite volunteer job was participating in meals on wheels. Many times I was the only contact my seniors incurred with the outside world. I enjoyed brightening their day, and gave them the extra love and attention they deserved. I have very reliable transportation, having just purchased a new car in June 2026. I also have a Yorkie named Maisie, and a cat named Socks. I love animals, and they love me. I have a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) from USF. I am a licensed Realtor . I like to stay busy and have volunteered for over 30 years with a local hospital. Since Covid, I am not longer doing that. My greatest joys in life are my two sons and six grandchildren. I am active and enjoy taking my grands to the park and the pool. I also enjoy helping home schooling them. I have volunteered at my church for years, often taking people to doctor appointments and chemo. I have my own car and am able to run errands if needed. I love cats and dogs. I enjoy walking dogs. The last dog I took care of, Sunny, needed long walks. We did 3 miles a day plus. This was in Idaho. Not sure that is practical in Tampa in the summer.

Hello! I am currently studying for medical school and am working as a scribe full-time, but am looking for some extra work hours. I recently graduated from USF with a Master’s degree in public health. I have my BS in psychology/pre-med from Northwestern University.
