I love babysitting and being around kids. I volunteer at an elementary school every week, providing tutoring services in English. Fostering educational and learning opportunities for children is important to me--I am open to providing tutoring services during babysitting shifts. Beside tutoring, I also am part of a subbing agency where I work with children from ages 1-5. I am dedicated to creating safe and comfortable environments for your children while you are away. I also have skills in cooking and crafting. I also have experience pet-sitting. Responsibilities included walking, feeding, bathing, and keeping company. I volunteer for a senior care agency, where I call seniors with chronic illnesses 2-3x a week to check up on their physical and mental health--fostering real relationships. I do not feel comfortable providing medical care. Responsibilities I would be open to provide: Driving, running errands, cooking, and spending time with them. I come from a family with two younger siblings and two older siblings, so I’ve always been around and comfortable caring for children. Before I was anything I was an older sister, my experience with childcare began with two significantly younger sisters I still play a large role in raising. In addition to my personal experience, I have worked in volunteer roles as a tutor and summer camp academic instructor in a local children's home and with Hillsborough County Public Schools (if you need a homework helper, I'm your girl!!). In addition to the basics like CPR, I would say I'm formally certified in the arts of snack distribution, copycat Broadway performances of the songs from whatever show or movie your kids can't get enough of right now, arts and crafts and schedule adherence. I also am more than willing to tidy up while I'm over! (I'm great at cleaning too... not to brag or anything...) In terms of pets, I'm a lifelong animal lover! Cats, dogs, exotics, I love animals big and small! I have experience with dogs, guinea pigs and other rodents, fish and hermit crabs specifically (as my own pets over the years). However, I have cared for many cats before and if I'm given a care instructions list, I'm confident I can make friends with any critter.

I have a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) from USF. I am a licensed Realtor . I like to stay busy and have volunteered for over 30 years with a local hospital. Since Covid, I am not longer doing that. My greatest joys in life are my two sons and six grandchildren. I am active and enjoy taking my grands to the park and the pool. I also enjoy helping home schooling them. I have volunteered at my church for years, often taking people to doctor appointments and chemo. I have my own car and am able to run errands if needed. I love cats and dogs. I enjoy walking dogs. The last dog I took care of, Sunny, needed long walks. We did 3 miles a day plus. This was in Idaho. Not sure that is practical in Tampa in the summer.
