I’m an experienced behavioral health professional with several years of experience working with children and families, including children with autism and developmental needs. I hold a master’s degree in psychology and am currently pursuing my Doctor of Behavioral Health. I’m patient, dependable, organized, and genuinely enjoy creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment for kids. My professional background has given me experience supporting routines, managing challenging behaviors, communicating with families, and meeting each child where they are. I’m also comfortable helping with homework, activities, meals, light household tasks, and maintaining daily routines. After years in healthcare operations and leadership, I’m looking forward to getting back to more direct, meaningful work with children and families while completing my doctorate.
I'd describe my personality as fun, attentive, and caring. I like working with kids because I grew up in a pretty large family and love being a part of the development and growth of children! I love seeing the moment a new skill or trait clicks for them, and I love helping them turn into the people they were created to be! I started working with kids in middle school through babysitting and working in the church nursery and kids classes. I currently serve as the deacon of kids ministry at my church and regularly serve in child care on Sunday mornings. I worked as a full time nanny for a few months after graduating college. I've been babysitting and nannying off and on since then, and most recently worked as an afterschool program coordinator with elementary and middle school students. I have experience with all ages, but especially love to care for toddlers and young elementary. In my spare time, I like to read lots of fun books, watch movies, and go for walks! I also love music and love to attend concerts in the Atlanta area!
I was a junior volunteer in the children's ministry at my church for 2 years when I was in high school. I'm currently a student at Jacksonville University where I also volunteered at the on-campus daycare center. I'm a Dance major so I'm very active and in shape. Being able to teach young children to dance would be a plus!
Hello, I am 23 yrs old and I am a Gymnastics Instructor looking to support families. I have been in the Childcare industry since I was 17 and would love to potential to grow with a family. I have a positive and creative energy that engages any age group I come across and look forward to making honest and real connections.
Hello! My name is Tempest! I am 22 and a recent graduate from Charleston Southern University. As I am looking for a more professional and full-time position, I would love to help families out part-time! I love to hang out with kids ranging anywhere from infants to middle schoolers and be able to provide any needs that they have. I enjoy doing fun and creative activities and being outside! I grew up with 7 younger siblings and have been taking care of kids since I was 13. I have worked with kids in a variety of settings like volunteering at my church, leading groups of kids at sports camps, and giving my time for individual families and friends. I can be responsible for household tasks like cleaning and cooking. I am also willing to step in and provide help with homework need be!
