Hi! My name is Hailey I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in the fall of 2024. I live in Streeterville so I don’t drive but I’m willing to commute/ have experience ubering with kids. I’m a model and actor full time, so babysitting/nannying is the perfect way for me to make money on the side while I do what I love! I have 6+ years of childcare experience (the plus if for all of the years I grew up watching my little brother 😂). I worked as a camp counselor at YMCA back in Dallas Texas (where I’m from) in 2020. I realized I loved working with kids and started working for a babysitting agency when I first moved to Chicago in 2021. I have kiddos I’ve watched since they were newborns that are now about to start pre school. I have kiddos I’ve known since they were in elementary school entering high school. I love kids and helping where I can! I remember all of my babysitters from when I was a kid. My goal is to make sure that I leave a positive mark on the extra childhood memories of every child I watch. I want to make sure that the kids have fun, feel safe, and grow. I went to art school, so I’m very creative. I love all pets! I love tidying up and I’m ok cleaning when needed as long as it’s discussed. Hi Family, I’m Jasmyne a Chicago native and the proud second-oldest of six siblings — so you could say childcare has always been a big part of my life! I also have two adorable nephews I help care for regularly, which keeps my hands (and heart) full. In addition to years of hands-on family experience, I’ve also worked at a daycare, where I cared for children of different ages and helped plan fun, educational activities. On Sundays, I teach kids’ Bible studies at my church, which has deepened my patience, creativity, and love for helping children learn and grow. I am currently pursuing a masters in occupational therapy at DePaul University and have a passion for helping children. Despite being in grad school, I’m a child at heart, enjoy watching kid movies/cartoons, playing outside, painting, and board games. I have experience with younger siblings, neurodivergent kids, and usually babysit ages 1-12, but am looking forward to gaining more experience across all ages!

I have a genuine love for children and have helped raise my 7 nieces and nephews. I have plenty of children around me between family and friends that range from infants to school age that I sit from time to time. I also have 2 children ages 5 and 2, that spend a great deal of time at my home. They were God children of my deceased nephew that we grew to love as family. Hello! My name is Jeanette. I moved to Chicago in 2021 to pursue my MA in Sound Arts and Industries at Northwestern University. I currently work as a freelance audio engineer and teaching artist in the local film and arts community, and I’m looking for part-time or occasional childcare opportunities between projects. Before moving to Chicago, I worked as an early childhood educator in New Mexico public schools and summer programs. I earned my BA from the University of New Mexico with an interdisciplinary focus in Early Childhood & Multicultural Education, Music Studies/Performance, and Communication. I have years of experience working with children from early childhood through teens as a teacher, nanny, and sitter. I love caregiving because it’s rewarding to support kids as they explore, learn, and grow while creating a safe, creative, and encouraging environment. I enjoy engaging kids through reading stories, singing songs and nursery rhymes, music, crafts, imaginative play, outdoor exploration, and sensory activities. I like following children’s interests and encouraging curiosity while also supporting routines and helping kids tidy up after activities. When screen time is allowed, I prefer guided movement breaks or short educational programs (like Danny Go, Ms. Rachel, or Kids TV 123), but I usually try to keep kids engaged with hands-on activities instead. I’m bilingual (fluent in Spanish), play a variety of string instruments, and am currently working toward my Deep Listening certification. I previously worked with a community organization in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood co-teaching expressive arts classes for children and families, and volunteered with ALAS as a violin instructor for a mariachi youth group. While living in Santa Fe, I also led an outdoor summer arts adventure program organizing nature-based art projects, movement games, and creative activities both outdoors and indoors. More recently, I’ve spent lots of time helping care for my two nieces (now ages 2 and 5), which keeps my toddler and early childhood play skills active.
