Hi! I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology at UIC. I have experience working with children through my work as a summer camp counselor and middle school assistant coach. I’ve supervised children, organized activities, helped create a safe and welcoming environment, and encouraged teamwork and positive behavior. I enjoy caregiving because I like helping children feel comfortable, supported, and engaged. I’m patient, responsible, and dependable, and I enjoy finding fun activities that match each child’s interests. Outside of work and school, I’m an animal lover and have a pet snake. I am a certified nanny who has work for different families over the years. From full time to park time during the school year and for summers. Planned age appropriate activities and outings for the children in my care. I work in the early childhood with infants through school age for 15 years in centers and at home. Planned breakfast and lunch for the children, helped expose them to new foods along the way. Allowing the children to express their wants, needs and frustrations appropriately. Used positive reinforcements with the children who do the right thing. I am currently a nurse that works for the school system. I have done Pre-K through high school in the school for the last 15 years. I have worked with several medically complex children, autism, cerbal palsy kids as well. I am a prek sped teacher and willing to work with special needs children or many at once but price may increase for multiples not special needs special prices. However, I want to have clear expectations. I am ell certified and almost a learning behavior specialist. I love art outdoors science and sports! I love to teach through hands on methods and do not raise my voice to children unless an emergency. If this happens, I’ll explain why to the child and tell you. I’m comfortable with many little ones. Hi, my name is Emily and I’m 20 I babysit alongside my serving job. And I take great pride in providing amazing childcare. I am the oldest of four kids. My mom actually decided to add the 4th one back in 2023 so I’ve been able to walk alongside her in the newborn/toddler age:) I love children and being intentional with our time such as doing crafts, going for walks/the park when the weather is nice or making learning fun. Naturally as an older sister, I have experience cooking, tiding up, helping with homework and driving kids to and from sports/school. I’ve also worked children’s ministries at church and provided childcare since I was 12 this ranged from nursery age to middle school age. minimal dog task can definitely be done as well!!
