Hello! My name is Joanna ! I am 28 years old with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been babysitting since I was about 13 years old for teachers from my elementary school to my high school teachers. I have always been interested in children which is why I persuaded my degree and currently a second grade teacher within CPS! I love spending time with children and seeing them smile! Making them smile and me being the reason makes me happy.

Growing up my grandma owned a daycare and I would help her take care of kids and plan arts and crafts time for them. I also have recent experience over the past 2 summers of working at a stay away camp looking over multiple different age groups of kids over the age of 6 full time. After my first summer I was promoted to leader of my cabin group and have learned to keep things together, better my communication, and still keep kids happy! Pets wise, I have 3 cats and a dog so I know how to manage!

I am fun loving of all kids and pets. With my own daughter I learned a lot about growing children and how to teach and help them grow into the best part of themselves. I also know what it means for parents to have a break, and can easily make sure to give you the peace of mind needed when taking a much needed break.

Hello, I have about 25 years of experience taking care of children from birth to 18 years old. Some of the following experiences include, diaper changing, feeding children, sleep routine, food preparation, laundry, car pool, doctor visits, homework/ project assistance, dishes, mopping, sweeping and vacuuming. I also have experience in helping the elderly, feeding, dressing, bathing, medication reminders and assist around with wheelchair/walker. I have more than 15 years of experience with dogs, feeding and cleaning. I received my high school diploma at Richard Daley College in Chicago. My family and I own three dogs, which I successfully potty trained myself! A fun fact, I managed to write and illustrate my own children’s (“Goldfish”) book.
