Greetings! I am First Aid and CPR Certified, and 37 years old. I have raised and trained two dogs, cared for seniors experiencing dementia and have 20 years experience caring for children of all ages. My strategy with kids (and seniors) is to slow down, answer all questions and give them options. As big sister to three boys, my entire childhood and young adulthood involved caring for kids. Once I left home, I became a certified post-partum doula, then went on to nanny full time. I became more curious about teaching kids, so became a theater teacher for kids ages 3-11 for 6 years. I am looking to build some caretaking relationships for children, pets and seniors.

Hello my name is Shannon or Shan. During the school year I am a program manager for before and after school programs at a CPS grade school. I work with all ages from Pre K to seventh grade in the program. I have many years experience babysitting for infants and toddlers. My schedule is currently very open for the summer so I have a lot of flexibility. I love all animals, I myself have two cats, and also have several years experience pet sitting, mainly dogs and cats.
