Hi! My name is Artemis, my students call me Teacher Art! I’ve been teaching early childhood since April 2025 and I absolutely LOVE working with kids! My classroom had the most allergy students in the center so I am very familiar with allergy protocols. I have my SBS certification, my SIDS certification, and my Food Handler’s certification as well! My favorite things to do are puzzles, story time, and art activities! I also love getting to see what my students are interested in and using that knowledge to build stronger connections! I have a background in singing and art therapy, and I try to incorporate that into my work with my students. I have two years teaching experience with middle school aged students with disabilities as well. I’m fluent in English and Spanish, and intermediate in ASL. I also have experience working with seniors both in a nursing home and in home care as well. I have experience bathing and dressing seniors, meal prepping for them, and cleaning up their home.
