I just finished a summer internship with a pediatric occupational therapy clinic where I learned about developmental milestones, sensory needs, and helping kids communicate, as well as a variety of other skills! I currently provide part-time after school care to three children, so I have a good amount of flexibility and availability for daytime coverage, and date nights. I have also provided after school nannying for a family in Cincinnati for two years and a one other family in Chicago for three years. I have provided childcare to dozens of other families across the city, including for school closures, childcare gaps, and date nights. I’ve worked in the childcare part of conferences and weddings multiple times. I was a camp counselor for a theatre camp for two years leading ages 5-18 through a variety of activities. I currently volunteer at Lurie Children’s Hospital’s Almost Home Kids. I am CPR certified for the fifth time.

Hi! I am a college student off for summer break and am looking to help out families in the area! I have a ton of experience in childcare from 2 months old to 12 years old. I have worked summer camps and babysat for various families for around 5 years, was an afterschool nanny for a kindergartener one year, worked in a daycare, and last summer nannied full time for a 3 month old. Hi! I am a current MBA student at Northwestern Kellogg looking to make some extra money while in school. I'm originally from California and, prior to Kellogg, was working as a clinical researcher at Stanford for over 8 years running clinical trials for Type 1 diabetes technology. My working role involves working with children of all ages (as young as 3 and up) in a healthcare setting, requiring 24/7 oversight for safety. Much of the research I do involve multi-day studies to oversee how new medical devices perform; I’m essentially serving as a babysitter and creating/overseeing activities to do (it’s hard to explain, but I’m more than happy to do so if you’d like more details about what this means!). I have my BS in human development from UC Davis. Aside from my current role, I have multiple years of experience working with children during college in classroom settings, through various baby sitting gigs, and even teaching piano. I love puzzles, baking, playing with my pup (and generally all dogs), and being outside and active as much as possible! I most recently spent a quarter abroad in Australia and was fortunate enough to complete a few multi day backpacking trips around Australia and New Zealand I love being creative and am happy to do arts and crafts and supervised baking projects with your child! I have been CPR/First Aid trained and certified multiple times in the past (including toddler/infant) for my job, though that has since expired. That said, I am confident in my abilities to address emergency situations from my past trainings.
