Hi! My name is Rachel (Ray) and I am 21 years old. I go to Northeastern as a Psych/Human Services student. I have worked at Perkins School for the Blind in special education as a teacher’s assistant for a little over a year with teenagers and young adults. I also have been a volunteer tutor with elementary aged kids for a little over two years. I love art and music (I have a guitar I love to bring), sensory, getting energy out and being silly.

I am college student here at Fisher College looking to help out on my free time. I was a preschool teacher for 1-3 year olds during the summer and I loved working and teaching them. My personality is generally relaxed but I am fiercely loyal to the children in my care, meaning I need to work with a family that also views their child/children as complete people and treats them with respect. :) Also I appreciate adults who can be forward and up front about their boundaries and what they want from a caregiver.

During the day, I am a senior in high school, and I am planning to attend college in the upcoming year. After school, I work at an aftercare at an elementary school four days a week, and have been working there for almost two years. Mainly, I work with kindergarten, but can range from K-5.
