Hi! My name is Talia, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, along with my CDA Pre-K Certification, Infant and Toddler Certification, and many other certifications related to childcare and development. I have hands-on experience as a nanny, homeschool support, and have also worked as both an infant teacher and a Pre-K teacher. Working with children truly brings me so much joy, it’s such a beautiful experience being part of their growth, imagination, and everyday little moments. I’m very fun, patient, and bubbly, and I love creating engaging days filled with play, learning, creativity, and lots of positive energy. I enjoy building genuine connections with families and children ensuring that they feel happy, safe, and excited throughout our time together. I’m also happy to assist with light housekeeping and meal prepping to help support your home and daily routine. I’m currently open to short-term and occasional care and would love to bring that same warmth and energy to your family!
Mom to 2 amazing kids in elementary school. Three years of experience as an au-pair and nanny before becoming a parent. Experience volunteering in elementary school and preschool as a teacher aide. I love being in nature, playing with kids outdoors, dancing to silly songs, reading, baking, and making art. I practice positive and peaceful parenting, focusing the connection between child and their caregiver. Serving children and families is my passion. As an immigrant and a mother who started raising her children without "the village", I'm deeply in touch with the unmet needs of families with young children in the US. I am passionate about supporting families with what they need to thrive and succeed- childcare, social-emotional supports for parents, and engaging the family with the community. I’m pursuing a graduate certificate in maternal and child health and planning a career change from research in public policy to child therapist.
Hello! I'm a teacher of kindergarten! I have taught for 38 years! I have done alot of babysitting on care.com!
Hi! I'm Lisa. I'm a dedicated, energetic, and personable mom of four who has been raising my family for the past 11 years - my children are 4, 6, 9 and 11. As the third oldest of eight, I have a lifetime of experience with babysitting, bonding with, and helping children. I don't shy away from household work, either! I am looking to get back into the workforce in a capacity that both suits my own schedule and allows me to highlight my strengths. In addition to my practical experience of being a mom and running a household, I have past experience in the professional workforce. Those jobs have included office manager, administrative assistant, file clerk, and similar positions. In each of my past jobs, there has been some element of at least some of these skills: organizing; maintaining and at times devising filing systems - both digital and traditional; maintaining calendars/schedules; training co-workers; writing manuals. Writing, proofreading, and editing are great strengths of mine and ones I enjoy utilizing. I have previously cared for others' children, as well as been a dogsitter and cat sitter. Understanding the demands of parenthood (and adulthood in general), I also understand the demands of family life. Need light housework, laundry, reorganizing/cleaning spaces, or other such tasks in your home or office? Lessening the weight of these loads will allow you and your family to function better. (I have a great interest in highlighting and growing my organizing talents!) Other qualifications that might be of help to you: *packing/unpacking before and after moves *switching out seasonal clothes *making donation lists/inputting into databases *organizing online files, folders, and photos *maintaining (and setting up if needed) filing systems for bills and other paperwork *helping elementary school-aged children with homework (possibly older kids too) *reading to children (and adults!) *planning and setting up for parties (and cleaning up afterward too!) I am personable, a fast learner, enthusiastic, sincere, and have a lot of experience interacting with people in various settings. Meeting families through this platform is an exciting prospect for me. I am open to other positions that I have not listed here and look forward to meeting you soon!
Hi! My name is Maylani, and I am entering my junior year of college studying Public Health Science. I’m looking for a seasonal summer babysitting position and would love to support a family that needs help during the week and/or weekends. I have experience babysitting for families in my neighborhood after completing Safe Sitter training, and I have also worked as a gymnastics coach for school-age children since the summer of 2023, a role I continue to hold today. Coaching has helped me develop patience, creativity, leadership, and strong communication skills with children of all ages. A little more about me: I hope to become a podiatrist in the future, and as a pre-med student, I have been consistently shadowing at a pediatric urgent care clinic since June 2025, which has given me additional hands-on exposure to working with children in a clinical setting. I also had the opportunity to shadow at a pediatric hospital in Athens, Greece. In addition, I love science, work as a college biology tutor during the school year, and will be doing biology research this summer. If you’re looking for a responsible, energetic, and caring babysitter this summer, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
